There are a lot of cool puzzles in this and I want to like it but the choice to use a single button with no way to quickly back out of menus/puzzles is infuriating. The real game is the menu escape room where you keep accidentally going back into menus when you hit B expecting to go back.

Beautiful art design, puzzles are fun and accessible, no leaps of strange logic. And after Blue Prince I am all over the lack of RNG.

The game has outstanding atmosphere and narrative. Players who don't read every documents and stories might not be able to follow the plot exactly word by word, but they would definitely get the vibe that the game is going for, and I think that's a success. Obviously the puzzles weren't the best. Like many other had said the puzzles were not story related, they were more like lazy brain teasers and IQ tests that you can easily find online. For a game that's very puzzle heavy, the puzzles were very boring. But again this means that other elements of this game kept me engaged regardless of the puzzle designs. The atmosphere like mentioned before, as well as music and sound design, animation, story and writing, game sequencing were all very good. At this point I will accept the bad 'puzzles' as a feature. The game wasn't too hard, but I was stuck on a few annoying pieces that was mostly misled by its minimalistic UI choices. For one I didn't figure out many documents have more tha...

I would love to play this game, but some of the visual effects gave me pretty bad motion sickness pretty much immediately. I love a layered, complex adventure puzzler, so I was pretty disappointed. Hope that there could be an alternate/accessibility option that would make this playable for me at some point!

This is such a good puzzle game. Wonderfully creative. It will surprise you many times. Unfortunately I don't have the patience to finish it. It's just too much imo. I feel like I 100% understand how and where to complete all the remaining tasks to finish the game but I will not be doing all that. Figuring out the rules/patterns that inform the solutions to the various types of puzzles in the mansion was the fun part for me. Completing all the remaining puzzles just feels like busy work now.

Undid a lot of the trauma The Witness caused and made me both enjoy myself and feel smart again. Very fun! Extra recommend if you're swedish because there's a whole bunch of jokes you will not notice if you're not a swedish speaker.

Incredibly compelling story, challenging (but not too overly difficult) puzzles, and a beautiful mix of 30s noir and early computer aesthetics. What more could you ask for? Well, personally I'd ask for accessibility settings to remove strobe and glitch effects for those who need to, but otherwise it's a pretty perfect game!

peak presentation, peak exploration puzzles, peak pacing, & hands down some of the best writing I've seen in video games to date.

It's got a nice style, some really good puzzles, a rather baffling story that doesn't quite come together, and some seriously janky UI design. You will scream at the lack of a "back" button and the amount of time you waste going back to the main game every time you enter a puzzle solution wrong (which I suspect seriously add to the game play time overall). There's a whole set of tasks that really just come down to trying to get to places with a broken controller, which will make you want to pitch the game into the ocean. There are some great puzzles, and a few that are not set up well at all so you have no idea where to even start. Don't feel back for going out of the game to get some hints as to what to do. The difficulty of the puzzles ramps pretty well, so by the end you've got some really hard stuff to put together, and you'll wish to be able to have your "photographic memory" open the same time as you are playing. I had a whole set of notes and screen caps a side the game...
