This game could be really really cool. I was looking for something to plan out furnishing my apartment. However, I was getting more aggravated than anything else. The controls are frustrating, scaling items is broken (items will float or, for doors, leave gaps in the wall). There is no undo button for creating walls, causing a lot of headache. You can't snap to grid low enough to get precise placement of walls either. The bones are there, but it needs work.

User Reviews
I really want to like this game, but I've tried to play it about 5x now and the controls are just unbearable.
I LOVE this game so far. I HATE drawing backgrounds for comics since I cant visualize how rooms work a lot of the time, PLUS all the clutter, this makes it super easy to put a room together so I can better draw what I need to! The controls feel a bit finicky at times, though I think it's maybe just because I'm more used to Sims. I really enjoy the touch of being able to leave drawers slightly ajar, it makes it feel more lived in. I wish there was a way to the light settings while in photo mode. Other than that, I really love this game. I love it so much I decided to make my first review on a game in my 14 years of having this account. Keep up the good work!
The game feels very rough and a lot of the game mechanics seem to not be working, Especially achievements and graphics. I'd hold off from getting the game for a while longer in its current state.
Honestly... regret picking this one up and waiting so long to play it. At a glance, it seems simple enough. However, the auto-snapping to grid makes placing objects very clunky and it is not very intuitive with placing things on a Y axis (trying to scale curtains to not touch the floor and place them over a window was painfully irritating). The game also starts convincing you it will explain everything, but sort of ditches you after the first job in story mode and leaves you to sandbox and sort it out yourself (or at least does a poor job of sending you to the next tutorial job once completing the first). I found myself annoyed and frustrated feeling like I needed to google things like "how to open cabinets" and "how to move on y axis". Didn't even give this a full hour before I gave up. If I honestly played this within 14 days of purchasing... I'd be getting this refunded. People come to these types of games to turn brain off and drown it in aesthetically pleasing and soothing gamepla...
I love a decorating/diorama game, and with the floods of them that have appeared recently, I have played a LOT. This has to be one of the highest quality currently available in terms of fine-tuning controls, customisation possibilities, and complete freedom to make ANYTHING. I can't speak for story mode so much because I mostly play sandbox, but the sandbox creator is seriously impressive. Definitely worth picking up!
Horrible, clunky controls and buggy placement. Extremely frustrating.
I've been searching for a game on desktop that would be perfect for designing a room for my OCs and this game is perfect. There are so many options for resizing objects as well as turning them to preferred angles. There are plenty of objects to create some cluttered spaces. You can even resize the room you're working with which was a big plus for me since I wanna work on making various spaces for my characters. You can put so much of your imagination into this game and that is a beautiful thing. I do hope to see a redo button and more rug/curtain options ... maybe some mesh textures too ... in future updates. But other than that, what an awesome game for artists and writers to visualize spaces.
I love building and decorating, this game has both. :)
cool app, mods are great my room is super small so its good for planning it the models are limited but considering its in early access its really good i got my chair cuz of the ikea mod
