Time Flies

This game is a direct adaptation of the 2008 award-winning short animation One Minute Fly. Same concept, same mechanics, same humor, and the same reflection on our own short lives. I don't see any mention of "adaptation of One Minute Fly" in the game description, nor any credit given to Michael Reichert, the creator of that film, in the game credits. I would definitely delete this negative comment if the developer or any player can confirm that disclaimer of adaptation is indeed mentioned in the game.

It's cute, has a nice sense of humor, but it's too expensive for what it offers.

Stunning. :o The comedy is an impeccable balance of lighthearted frankness and darkness. There was a lot of thought about the elements and how to make it all come together to story the subtext. All that I can say is, I really vibed with this. Thank you for making art. <3

So I don't remember how I found this game, but I really appreciate the humour and the out of the box thinking. I loved it and it had me laughing out loud quite abit. Though I think the game is a bit expensive at full price, I do think the game is definitely worth it when it's on sale. And if you think the humour is for you from watching the trailer, maybe buy it full price.

A tiny curio cabinet of possibilities, Time Flies hides rewarding and engaging things to do in every crevice. The comically short lifespan of the fly forces the player to think strategically about their bucket list, and how to get the most out of every moment. To that end, there is some light commentary about mortality underpinning the whole experience. I had a great time with it!

A short (about 1-2 hours) but memorable experience, all of the solutions can easily be found by simply exploring the space around you and they will often be a cute play on words with whats on the fly's bucket list. There was a lot of love and effort put into this game and I personally think it's worth the price if you are fond of those puzzle flash games like 'Feed the Head and 'Plug & Play'.

What an absolute gem of a game. The ending legitimately gave me goosebumps.

Similar to other titles published by Panic, it's darkly humorous, clever, and even a touch subversive. It's in a bundle with Untitled Goose Game and Thank Goodness You're Here, which you should also already own anyway. Took me about 1.5hrs to play through, and another 40 minutes to polish off the remaining Achievements and Collectibles.
