About This Game

SUMMARY

Psycho Reign is a Single or 2 player co-operative online horror puzzle and stealth game where in each level you will be chased by blood thirsty Psychos. There is no turning back. Once you have started it's you or them. You need to solve mini puzzles in order to progress further on the map. Ultimately, you need to find something to fight back but until then your best chance is to hide and play stealth.

GAMEPLAY

In Psycho Reign you will roam around a dark, abandoned cemetery. Throughout the level you will be chased by two bloody thirsty psycho killers. These guys are not joking. If they find you, you will rest in pieces. The cemetery is divided into several gardens. Each one of these gardens have at least two exits. Each garden has a hidden key. You need to find the key by solving simple puzzles. Once you have the key, you can decide which direction you will be heading to. In the first garden you will be given 2 keys. This allows you to try different strategies or think way ahead. You can skip a garden by using the second key and just rush through the first one. You can keep the second key for later if you need to quickly leave the area or if you are playing with a friend each one of you can take a key and head to different directions. It's all up to you.
Ultimately you need to find a weapon and bring salvation to your chasers.
And as if that wasn't enough, prepare to face a creepy entity who was slaughtered here and haunts the area ever since.

Great atmosphere but monster not scary at all, and "ghost" icons are really annoying. Quests a bit repetitive. Price a little bit high. overall this game has a great potential !

Played this early and had some trouble, but the Developer was quick to make changes for the better. Very suspenseful, and a blast to play with a friend. Easily worth the asking price for a creepy experience.

Early access but as it stands now, played the first map a couple times with a friend and to sum it up is more frustrating than it is scary. Bugs: (keep in mind early access but I though to include them anyways). - Getting heath drained for seemingly no reason. - Sound cues of the two enemies of the game chasing/injuring you are played for both players regardless of who is actually getting chased. - when the killer is alerted to a sound and reaches the POI sometimes instead of walking away when he has checked it, he walks in place and doesn't leave until he is out of range of both players or enters chase (big problem for if the POI blocks your escape). - Run out of flashlight juice? No need putting a new battery in it works perfectly fine. - Getting a message that 'you don't have the key to this door' on every door regardless if you have the key or not (if you have the key the door will open if you spam it). - Losing chase is as easy as crouching in the broken graves patches through ou...

it could be good, but it feels unfinished, like there's something lacking. if one of the 2 player dies in multiplayer, you both lose. it is more of an anxious game than a horror.

Big props to the developer. The review I left last week has been void due to very responsive development, and a number of changes have been made that I believe will enhance the game in some very noticeable ways. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Old Review: TLDR - the game isn't scary for trivial reasons, but it has potential. The main issue with the game is the mini-map. Each player gets a highly detailed mini-map that shows The Psycho's location at all times. As a result, there is zero "fear of the unknown". This sucks because the psychological factor of not knowing what is coming is very important in making a game scary. To put it simply; this game isn't scary. A few simple changes would make this game a lot of fun: - Make so you must break line-of-sight with the Psycho in order to enter a hiding place - remove the Psycho from the mini-map altogether - add fog-of-war to the mini-map so you must discover areas - ditch the i...
