About This Game

The Zachtronics Solitaire Collection is here! Inside you will find seven totally unique solitaire games originally designed as minigames for our 2016–2022 releases, updated with new 4K graphics, plus one brand new solitaire variant found only in this collection.

 • Shenzhen Solitaire: A FreeCell-inspired solitaire variant with a three-color deck based on mahjong tiles
 • Sigmar’s Garden: A tile matching game using the alchemical symbols from Opus Magnum
 • Proletariat’s Patience: An asymmetric solitaire variant where some cards are grouped by suit while others are stacked by alternating colors
 • Kabufuda Solitaire: A challenging solitaire variant using Japanese kabufuda cards where additional free cells are unlocked by making sets
 • Cluj Solitaire: An original solitaire variant where you can “cheat” by placing cards wherever you want, so long as you’re careful
 • Cribbage Solitaire: A score-based solitaire variant using modified Cribbage rules and an actual Cold War aircraft recognition deck
 • Sawayama Solitaire: A reimagined version of Klondike that is faster, more strategic, and more often winnable than the original
 • Fortune’s Foundation: A brand new and extra-challenging solitaire variant using a deck of Tarot cards that presents a fortune when you win

I never thought I'd become a Solitaire Guy™ but here I am in love with a collection of solitaire and solitaire-likes from a developer whose other games I'm too stupid to play. In order; Sayawama Solitaire A more refined and quicker version of Klondike, it tricks you into thinking that letting you to play any card in the freecell or empty column would make it easier, but it's just more options to block yourself. The most classic of the collection and the best starting point. Sigmar’s Garden Not really solitaire in the literal sense, more of a complex match up game, the whole board is visible so you can spend some time thinking about your moves. I didn't really gel with this one, but lots of people exclusively place this. Proletariat’s Patience Similar to Shenzen Solitaire but without the freecell. It's very easy to restrict your options quickly by locking away precious columns. Very cool aesthetic. Cribbage Solitaire Pretty standard cribbage...

Such a good solitare collection. Every game has it's own set of rules, some are a twist on classics, some stray far from it, but each one is so addicting. Graphics and performance is excellent too.

The Zachtronics Solitaire Collection is a thoughtful, charming, and surprisingly deep anthology of solitaire games that distills the quirky, brainy DNA of Zachtronics into a package far more meditative than the studio’s usual fare. Known for their complex programming puzzlers like Opus Magnum, TIS-100, and Shenzhen I/O, Zachtronics has always included solitaire variants as hidden or optional diversions within their larger titles. This standalone collection, then, feels like both a nostalgic tribute and a curated final statement—gathering these mini-games in one polished, accessible place while offering a final new entry to cap off their body of work. At first glance, the idea of a solitaire compilation might sound quaint or even underwhelming, especially from a studio with a reputation for programming complexity and systems-driven design. But each game here is far from a traditional card puzzle. These are not clones of Klondike or Spider—each solitaire variant has unique rules, ...

Humble solitaire game, sometimes you need to just sit down and play a good few rounds. Plenty of games, ranging from easy to hard. Pleasing aesthetics, what you see is what you get, but very fun. In an age of mediocre games, solitaire remains strong and eternal.

Great game. Very interesting puzzler. Would highly recommend. Suggested Changes: -A lesser difficulty mode with take backs -A feature that tells you whether a deal is solvable, or whether it becomes unsolvable during play
