I just bought a house and I have been looking for something to design the kitchen. I figured this might a good purchase as the other applications being sold were really mobile based. I wasn't looking for professional but something that was slightly better then the sims with dimensions and placement. I mean even something like Prison Architect or Simcity(classic) might be something. But there was so many flaws that made a decent job impossible. 1. First was the floor design. I can't choose where the starting point is on each measurement? Sometimes the measurement was upside down. 2. The Snap grid function did not function properly. If I changed the snap measure it would skew any measures I made. Nothing was even. 3. Measurements. Over time the measurements added values so if you were measuring by 10 eventually you would get a 82. This might be related to the snapping causing lines to become uneven. Easy to make shapes, but has no functionality for moving blocks of points at once. Converter to ft is only on readouts, but does not impact grid snapping. Settings are not precise enough to make conversion directly. Guesses for ext walls vs int walls is shoddy.

Fairly solid application, it does what it says it should. Main complaints are that the UI isn't particularly polished, and that there is a definite lack of items. If they added custom item/Steam workshop support then this would easily be much better. So the TLDR of this it's good, but it isn't a "hidden gem" because it is lacking in a few areas, at the time of this review at least.

Program creator lied to users - program is not fully translated to ukrainian or russian language. And there are some squares at places of some ukrainian or russian letters. Some elements of menu isnt translated even to English. I need to know names of curators that allowed this program in Steam - to make complaint at those curators and complaint at this program. All money that are spent by users to buy this program must be returned to users. If not - Steam becomes one of the worse game platforms to buy and play games

It works horrible. Full of bugs and it's really limited. Not what I expected, I'm really dissappointed

On first use, it crashed when trying to save floorplan. Then crashed whenever I tried to launch the programme. Uninstalled as unable to use it.

This is crap. Don't waste the money.

it should be called floor plan designer since you cannot design the roof the second level of the house or floor if you have 2 or 3d floor

A good program for when you want to lay out a simple design for something. Not always intuitive and could use some more features and assets, but it's a good program.
