I remember the old Cyber League Football game from back in the 80's. I was hoping this would pay homage to the game of yesteryear with an updated coat of paint and fresh game play. Well it does have a new coat of paint, but the game play is an uninspired mess. The controls feel clunky. The player types although look different feel exactly the same when controlling them. Even though there are some background crowd noise, they do not add to the experience, they are just that.... noise. Everything that needs to be in this game in order to bring this classic back to life in the 2020's is right there for the developer. Yet it feels like they started off with a great plan for a game, but lost their momentum somewhere in the middle and just pushed it out the door. Very disappointing.

User Reviews
This game is not worth $15.00. To begin with, there is a severe lack of content and features. There are no graphic options or any way to remap the controls. You can't play a single season, just a franchise. Plays are extremely limited and the rules are very different than American football. There are also no weather effects or nighttime games, just daytime games. There is also no announcer and the stadiums all look the same and feel very lifeless. However, perhaps the worst aspect of this game that ruined it for me is that playing defense is absolutely awful. You can only switch defenders before the ball snaps. This means you often choose a defender that is far away from the action, which means the CPU makes most of the tackles and interceptions are just about impossible. So you basically end up watching the CPU play defense for you. Players are also robots that toss a beach like ball that often bounces away as an incomplete pass. If I'm wanting to play an arcade football game, I would...
needs a lot of updates, franchise improvements, custom rosters, ect
