This is a recommend for the casual crowd who doesn't mind a game taking it easy on you. The story sections can get a bit long and skill drops are random, so RNG can hurt, but its never so much that a careful player can't overcome it!

Such a wonderful surprise of a game. It baffles me this game has gotten so little attention. There is this nostalgic feeling about it. The graphics and music are incredibly charming. I love challenging roguelikes like Caves of Qud or Quasimorph and this game can be just that. I have seen many people call it casual, which it ultimately is, but it can also involve a good amount of complexity with the higher difficulties. Pick it up if you vibe with a little peep wearing an aviator hat or a moody pup with an eye-patch.
The game feels like a lost N64 title. Every screen, every animation, every sound effect feels just like a first-party N64 game in the best way without feeling like it's copying anything. The game itself is a really interesting mix of classic Mystery Dungeon gameplay with real-time combat. I absolutely love it and can't wait for more updates.
"What a cute chill little game!" 5 mins in *hits you with someone's last moment of dying from cancer*
I need the Dino baby to be an unlockable character instead of a run-only character. I need it. (Great Game aside from that)
Popped over to pick this up after seeing Olexa's video on it. Super charming little roguelike dungeon crawler game. I've managed to beat both of the first 2 zones on Normal, and am looking forward to seeing how the following zones play out. From the little bit that I've played so far, if you like dungeon crawlers like Chocobo's Dungeon or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, you'll most likely feel right at home in this. The big difference is that the game isn't tied to the player's movement. Your primary attack instead has a short cooldown, while your equipped skill charges by attacking. Both stack multiple charges, so you don't have to worry about wasting timing or charges. You can swap out your equipped stickers (relics, artifacts, whatever you wanna call them) in camps, as well as level up, swap out skills, party members, etc. I'm only an hour in so far, but there's a lot of charm in this game already. ...super curious where the crazy backstory in this game's gonna be going, too. Hit's...
It just has so many little features that all add up to an already really polished experience. Have played a few runs so far, but it felt really amazing. Only worry I have is that the game might not take too long, but only time will tell. Haven't played Paper Mario, but I really love the style. And have played a lot of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Mario & Luigi, and can definitely see the inspiration.
This game perfectly scratches that something-in-the-vein-of-Binding-of-Isaac itch I've been having for a while. The very quasi-grid-based/turn-based combat system is very refreshing and feels like a very novel approach to the genre. I'm not finished with the main story, but so far it seems very interesting and gives framework to the roguelike system of "runs". The great mechanics and wonderful art design makes this game easy to look at and a lot of fun to play. Get it. Play it. LOVE IT.
Very fun and charming game with great customization/QoL features, with the difficulty being very well balanced and fair for everyone. This is still in early access, but there is enough content to keep you hooked for a good bit. Works great on Steam Deck! <3
Very lovely game! I've grown very addicted to playing this, going run after run for hours!! Very excited to see new content as time goes by, but even then, there's enough content right now to keep me hooked for a good while.
