I'll try to keep this short. First, it's cool to see more of Akira Toriyama's work, outside of Dragon Ball, be acknowledged. Follow Beezlebub, Thief, Rao and Ann as they go an adventure to restore water to the titular Sand Land, and beyond. There's plenty to do, from exploring ancient ruins, competing in races and even bounty hunting. You'll have plenty of customization, both your characters' skills and the game's many vehicles. One of the few criticisms I have is that some side quests can have "bad endings" depending on your choices. Sure as hell caught me off guard. Either way, I recommend playing Sand Land at least once. Have a blast!

An enjoyable experience, story is . . . okay, quests are simple, exploration is okay as long as you pace yourself & combat is god damn amazing, the customisation options for your vehicles really carries the game. if you want a great time, would recommend, its not a magnum opus but damn better than most AAA games nowadays by far.

This is the second time I have bought this game. First time was on Xbox got about 30 hours into it and stopped playing because my PC was built. Having a blast playing it again and back to where I left off. Great game, the story is good, vehicles are fun to play with. I can't wait to see the ending. Just a heads up, running it in DX12 was giving me issues so I forced it to run in DX11 and it's not lagging when I start fighting. CPU: 7800X3d GPU:4070 TI

I wish there was more to this game. I will say this first off, not worth 60 bucks. I would get it on sale for maybe 30 or 20. But onto what I like. Visually, the game is a ton of fun. The mechanic designs from Toriyama are so eye catching and cool, that with this being a vehicle focused game you really get to enjoy those designs. Customizing vehicles is fun as well and controlling them is pretty intuitive, though I found myself preferring a controller for this game over mouse and keyboard. But that's all the positive for me. The world is so cool but kind of shallow, the quests are really "meh" and the story is very safe. That is forgivable however if the game is engaging and fun. Which it's certainly fun! But not engaging at all. The game is *very* easy. I play on hard, and I can only imagine how much of a snooze the easy difficulty would be. I have not beat the game yet as of writing this, but just recently I did a fight in the tank where I was outnumbered something like 6 to 1 and...

This sure was a game I played. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good either. Story was decent. It is a re-telling of the SAND LAND manga, with the all new Forest land saga. If you like Akira Toriyama's writing style, you will enjoy this. Gameplay was so heavily centered on using the vehicles for both exploration, combat and puzzle solving that it felt like the on-foot gameplay was just and afterthought. Seriously, you pass about 90% of the game in the tank and the 10% left is mostly because you can't drive in the towns. And yet, the game still had sections dedicated to fighting on-foot or even sneaking around, both of which were really lackluster experiences at best. In terms of quests, the main quest was pretty much what to expect. It blended exploration, combat and puzzles well.
