About This Game

Sneak and steal presents as the Grinch and his dog Max.
Have a great Grinchy time trying to steal Christmas in this festive platformer – and help the Grinch’s small heart grow a few sizes bigger along the way!

Solve puzzles to gain abilities! Throw snowballs, disguise as Santa, use a Candy Cane Lasso or a Jumping Jetpack, and more!
Every Who down in Who-ville loves to sing, gift and feast, which are all of the things Grinch can’t stand in the least. So, help the Grinch and his dog Max set out to steal all the presents in Who-ville. You’ll have to be sneaky to avoid the bothersome babble of carol singers, the ever-eager Whos, and all of the tinsel, trimmings and trappings of the Christmas season.

The Grinch wants to stop Christmas, but you can help his heart grow three sizes!
Thankfully, the Grinch has some wonderful, awful ideas – like a Santa costume for stealthy sneaking, a Candy Cane Lasso to swing around, a speedy snowboard that can reach special race areas, and more. And Grinch can throw snowballs to freeze any pesky creatures that get in his way.

With visuals inspired by Dr. Seuss’s book and controls for young players.
With colorful visuals inspired by Dr. Seuss’s original illustrations, local multiplayer fun with up to two players controlling the Grinch and Max, and controls and puzzles designed for younger players, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures is a fun new way to enjoy the classic Christmas tale.

OK. my birthday is on Christmas yippee me, regardless. I bought this game as i loved the Grinch game on PS1, while this is nothing alike. I do absolutely recommend this game to anyone that avidly loves Christmas, the Grinch, or just winter in general. The movement is a little bit wacky but you get used to it. I do not regret this purchase at all. I am about half way through the game but i'm gonna replay this a LOT. This game is a lot of fun and i can guarantee a few laughs here whether it be from the silly noises the Grinch makes or the dumb gingerbread men. The repeatability of this game isn't very high for most i assume but i like it personally. Check it out :)
Quite terrible all things considered. The original game from the 90's was a world play style game with objectives and missions... this is a game for a 5 year old. Total and complete waste of money IMO. Completed the game start to finish in a few hours... total disappointment, would be a great free game, terrible reboot. Save your money.
The bizarre story of a green yeti that terrorized a small alpine village, nearly seventy years ago on Christmas day. Facts are few and hard to verify. The yeti itself is believed to have displayed incredible feats of strength, an insatiable hoarding disorder, and the ability to impersonate celebrities. It was also said to travel in the company of an Eurasian wolf. In one of her last interviews before her passing in July of 2000, sole surviving witness Cintia Luihough claimed the creature died from a cardiac event during her confrontation with it in her home. Suposedly verified by an autopsy preformed by the village Doctor, who's notes claim the Creature's heart had swollen to more than twice it's normal size. Other past testimonies differ wildly, with everything from the villagers actually befriending the yeti, to consuming it on Christmas day. The latter giving birth to the term, 'roast beast.' In the end, whether these events occurred or not, Something happened in this quiet ...
I can't comment on the length as I haven't finished it yet, but I'm 1.2 hours in so far and it doesn't look like I have much playtime left. - When you jump, you can't continue walking straight away. The landing animation seems to be forced so you have to wait a brief second before you can continue walking. It's hard to explain, but it's super annoying. - You can't just press A to skip dialogue and read it yourself, you have to fast forward through the dialogue which speeds the voice up, and then read it. This might just be a personal preference, but it's super annoying. - It doesn't play like a £34.99 game. The models of Grinch and Max are nice, but it feels like an indie project. - No Steam Cloud Saves. I started playing this on my Steam Deck, and had to start a new save to play it on my PC.
ive never had less fun playing a video game would recomend
the gunch was too much for me
Look I tried to like this, but it is AWFUL. Like super awful. Spend your money elsewhere
This game has changed my life forever. I have never met a more relatable main character in a video game for as long as I have been alive. The Grinch: Christmas Adventure is a game that will alter the way you view Christmas. Soon, you will understand and relate to the main character The Grinch in ways you have never done before. It made me feel so seen in this world of Christmas lovers. Finally, someone who understands that Christmas is just an excuse to be kind to one another. We should always be kind, not just during Christmas, but all year, every single day. The Grinch has turned the way he is; bitter, sour and lonely because people only save their kindness for Christmas Eve. I feel as if this game will change the perspective people have on life, and schools should have this as a part of their educational program. As a grade school teacher myself, I will do my part to teach my students about this game and let them play it to also change their perspective of life. Thanks for reading ...
**INTRO AND INSIGHT** Budget IP titles tend to have a negative stigma floating around them. They often have three key shortfalls. 1. They are not visually pleasing. 2. They are overpriced. 3. They are very short. These production companies that contract titles usually dodge scrutiny by having their borrowed Intellectual Property be for literal 5-year-olds who would clap at colourful paint drying. But, since The Grinch is so universally loved, many different demographics will grab this game just for its iconic antagonist alone. Due to the Dr. Seuss' icon having such broad appeal, more effort was put into the project than garbage like the Jojo Siwa or Baby Shark game. **DID THE GRINCH: CHRISTMAS ADVENTURES SURPASS EXPECTATIONS?** Visuals: Despite much of the content seemingly being from pre-paid asset packages instead of custom work, this game is stylistically consistent enough for me to give it a clean pass. While obviously the pipe dream would be for every game to have next-gen...
