Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my initial impressions review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/fY3usy37LyQ I hate to give this game a negative recommendation. I really want it to succeed. However, the only reason to buy this game currently is to support development and hope this game is in a playable state in the future. I experienced lots of bugs. There were several times where I just couldn't add a piece. I had to switch building blocks and hope I could continue adding. The game was going in & out of blurriness until I disabled depth of field. Teleportation would stop working. Grass would clip through the floor. Your building blocks are very limited. Overall, instead of being a relaxing experience building, it was frustrating. However, the game does look nice (especially for the building genre in VR). I really like the time of day, season, & weather effects. The water looks good. The map looks nice. The problem is that you cannot terraform so nothing you b...

About This Game
Be is all about exploration, building and ... well, just "Be"ing.
Theres no work, no time pressures. No nasty surprises. Be is a place where you can relax and do nothing (listen to the birds!) or engage in construction limited only by your imagination.
You have full control over the time of day & weather, letting you style the worlds visuals as your mood take you.
See amazing sunrises & sunsets, or if you prefer, walk around under moonlight. Want to sit and enjoy a sunset? You can do that. Want to build a mega structure off the side of the map with friends? you can do that too!
Features In Early Access
- A beautiful forest biome with a mix of hills, mountains and beach areas
- Full weather system: clear days, cloudy days, rain, storms and lightning
- Day / Night cycle: A day can pass in 20 minutes, or in realtime. You can even stop time completely!
- Beautiful & colorful ambient change as the time of day changes/progresses
- Multiplayer support (peer-peer, players join another persons game, up to 4 players)
- Over an hour of relaxing meditative music
- Some annoying seagulls :)
- Support for co-op building and experience. Up to 4 players.
Important
- Right now there are no resource limits, nor limits to building physics. We do plan to make building more challenging in a future update.
- Saved games may be unloadable in a future update.
Vr Support
Be Works From Both Pc and Also With Vr.
Testing so far has been with the Oculus 2, since that's what we've developed with thus far. Of course we intend to add more headsets in the future (they might work now, but no testing or keybinding testing has been done)Ideas For the Future
This gives you some idea of what we're thinking going forward.- More animals; more life
- Paths, to add life and direction into existing biomes
- Varied biomes (desert/snow)
- Rivers
- More restricted physics for building (to make building certain structures more challenging)
- Journeys (mini adventures to aid in exploration and discovery)
- Paintable structures (colour/tint existing built items)
- Player created pieces which are shared in the community
- Sand Raking
- Terrain deformation
- Terrain painting (make an area grass/dirt/stone)
- Introduce more physics (make a slide down a hill, go down it, launch yourself over the landscape)
- Puzzles that require two players to complete (could also spawn a secondary copy/playback of yourself; timed)
- Swimming
- Sailing, implies making our own rafts/boats and being able to sail them
- Gliding
- More achievements
- Meditation/guided breathing specific mechanics, e,g: guided breathing exercises
- Player emotions / animations (Sad/happy/question/etc)
- Attenuation of audio indoors (come in from the rain, and hear that as well as see it)
- Many more items such as beds, chairs, rugs, various indoor lights, building materials
- Bookmarked locations (portals / easy way to go to areas that you've 'saved')
- A world that gets more beautiful as you build
- Creation of 'prefabs'. e.g: build a tower and don't have to build it twice. Share those prefabs with others (anything from small items to complete structures)
- Journeys (guided tours, perhaps centered around achievements or getting extra items)

User Reviews
If you like this genre, construction stimulator, this game is for you. Very smooth and easy to learn mechanics. Maybe you need a little more balance and fix some graphical flaws.
This is a fun game. Just build stuff, bro. You can select time of day, time of year, general weather conditions. The ambient music is quite nice, the world is wide open. No mining, no minigames, no projects to do a project. Just build, and just Be. I'm a random internet nobody that likes big boats - and I cannot lie - and I recommend this game.
- I've been looking for a similar game for a long time It's a pretty clever idea. One of those games that doesn't create boundaries for you. You can be free in your imagination I love this beautiful world. I like the high quality graphics and it looks very modern. Unreal Engine 4 or 5??? This game combines several genres at once: - Simulator - Survival - Sandbox - building The game is able to show your skills as an architect :) You can build and destroy. From bridges to your own mansions. - Be supportive of cooperative mode Build your own mansion and live in it; Take a walk through the incredible and beautiful scenic areas; Watch the sunset by the water AWESOME! Great game, but EA sucks :( wait full
Oh, this amazingly beautiful world with no obstacles and no suffering
Do you want to build your dream home? Here you can easily bring all your fantasies to life. In addition, here you can cooperate with friends and build a real citadel together.
This game is AMAZING, this game could really be one of the best building games once finished if the dev really puts the time and effort into it, which i hope they do. The game is so easy to learn also the world is beautiful, always a winner when you have a building game with a beautiful landscape, lakes and rivers. relaxing, no enemies, easy to use, there isnt many games out like this really because they usually end up making the controls complicated and have a lack of decorations in game. The game runs really smooth, I Would love to see more decorations added for inside the home and garden, seeds, flowers, plants and different trees. Very Relaxing Game, Beautiful Landscape, Easy to use, worth the money 10/10
I was looking for something like this for a long time - not Minecraft, not survival, just a game where I can come back from time to time and slowly build something while listening to a podcast or a lecture - although I must say the ingame music is really nice. I'd say the game needs work regarding the brick textures (oftentimes they make or break the creation, so to speak), some alternate shapes would be nice, but just having color variations/texture variations, as well as textures that tile better would elevate this game to a whole new level. The graphics are really nice overall, and the time/weather control option is great - just some brick variation would be perfect. Thank you for this great game in any case!
game graphics are real nice building mechanics are easy the only thing for me is the controls im used to using the left stick for walking around and using the right stick to turn but in game the controls are opposite
Index user. Refused to launch in VR mode, even after changing its launch settings. Tis a shame, was really looking forward to seeing what was possible in this game. But I don't need "another" PC building game. I need a VR building game.
