I just finished the game. It's a well-balanced and relaxing survival experience, suitable for both normal and hard difficulty levels. The atmosphere and graphics are immersive, making me feel as though I was truly on that island. The game's skill system is impressive; you genuinely feel a sense of progression, unlike in The Long Dark and other games in the survival genre. There are many more positive aspects to this game, so I kept this review brief. However, there are some minor issues: I didn’t receive the benefits from one of the books I read, and I encountered a few minor bugs along the way, but none were significant. The animal AI needs improvement; it's not up to par. Final Score: 8.5/10

About This Game
Planning and carefully managing your hunger, energy, and thirst is key for any lost survivor. There is only so much you can do in one day: hunting, gathering resources, crafting new tools, and cooking will take precious time.
Yet survival is only the beginning… Once you’ve tended to your basic needs it’s time to explore the vast archipelago you ended up on.
Explore 11 islands, each with its own challenges: scorching Caribbean heat, relentless storms, malaria infested swamps and poisonous plants… The Bimini archipelago is full of hazards to overcome!
Prepare your expeditions, establish outposts on each region and roam the seas on unique vessels: from a primitive raft to a massive 16th century Spanish ship.
Dangerous animals, weather, plants, diseases, injuries, hunger, thirst, exhaustion — everything will test your strength and ability to survive. The archipelago is filled with wild dangerous beasts to hunt down and even more challenging animal bosses. You're the hunter here not the prey...
With blood and sweat, transform your encampment from a simple tent bivouac to a bustling base: tools workshops, crops field, water collector, smithing machinery…
There are hundreds of items that can be crafted and used for survival, from the simplest tools made of sticks and rocks to advanced muskets and armor.
While finding clues and traces of your shipmates, you will stumble upon remnants of an ancient civilization that perished for an unknown reason.
Search ruins and temples, decipher centuries-old puzzles and unveil the mystery behind the legendary Fountain of Youth.

Wow this game is slept on, only 1560 reviews at the time i wrote this. Must be bad marketing because this game is amazing! I went into it not expecting much, grumpy that it doesn't have co op. Yet it has that special something, between the exploration, the mystery, the sailing, and the crafting that just keeps you playing. If you like Valheim , enshrouded, the Forrest, etc, you will get hooked on this. Don't expect amazing combat, but the exploration and crafting is top notch.
I've been playing since early access, restarting with each new area launch. It's a solid solo survival game with an overarching story guiding exploration which you can engage with at your own pace. Highly recommend.
Hidden gem, the narration voice actor is bad but the gameplay is great. Small quality of life changes could be made but overall great open world survival craft w island theme.
This game is tedious and boring and is not fun it just feels like work which is not what i expect to feel when playing a video game. seriously this shit is so goddamned tedious, where instead of actually enjoying any of the gameplay you spend most of the time just scouring for stupid shit like rocks and sticks which should be literally everywhere but no only special locations, just like in real life. oh and there is like 5-7 different variety of stick just to make it even more convoluted so you dont really ever get to enjoy fun things like building bases or planting gardens because by the time you find enough rocks and sticks its time to go forage for water and food rinse and repeat. it feels like when you get to that [point in AAA game when you have beaten like 80 percent of the main quests and are now just looking for something to do other than the same few repeatable side quests before the final boss fight. speaking of fighting, the combat is basically non existent and you WILL get...
Solid
It's a fun game, well thought out. Goal oriented. Ohh and it has Bosses to beat so "Hurray".
Tough and addictive.
Amazing survival game, so much content too.
This is a great game. I loved and hated that it had an end game. It was so much fun to play with enough challenge to make you pay attention, but not so much that it felt like a part time job you had to work in the evenings. I couldn't wait to play it at the end of the day.
