one of my favourite games of all time. say what you will about IGN but they steered me towards this game when I was 10 years old and I have never been more thankful, getting to replay it on PC is such a delight and seeing it in higher resolution, getting to swap between the arranged and original versions of the tracks, the extras you get for completing challenges and levels man its all too sweet. (I can't express how good that soundtrack is by the way, i've been listening to it for the last 15 years.) Sissel, Lynne, Missile and all the other supporting characters are such a delight to be around and the constantly ramping mystery that just gets more and more ridiculous with every chapter is such a joy to experience. I am so incredibly fond of this game and it makes me think that I should really give the ace attorney series a try..

I played this game through many times on the DS. When I found out it was coming to PC, I HAD to get it. This game is truly a gem in its uniqueness. You will not regret playing it. I would play either version again in a heartbeat.

Good game. Consistently good art direction and zany characters and strong plot pacing. Mouse controls feel great.

I found the mystery elements too ridiculous to really like this game. It reminded me of how wacky and zany something like Professor Layton could get, but I liked the playstyle of the puzzles and the music there, so I could put up with it. It also reminds me of some of the over the top cartoonish danganronpa twists, but there I liked the characters. Ghost Trick: I loathe Lynne, the hapless and treasured female lead you constantly have to rescue. I also find the "gameplay" very boring. Few good characters (ooh! the cop with a dancing move. so fun /s) and boring gameplay, means the ridiculous mystery is extremely hard to swallow.

One word for this game: CLEVER. One of the most innovative, fun and pleasant gaming experience I have had in a long time. If you are familiar with Shu Takumi's work you will feel right at home. This game is bursting of creativity and has so many details that make your brain tickle just the right way. Anyone who enjoys mystery or narrative game should definitely grab this! It is a must. In a few hours I feel like this is easily one of the top best game I've played in my life.

The game itself is an easy yes. Huge recommendation, one of the higher-tier games of all time, which kinda sucks since it flew under a lot of people's radars back then. Great story, great characters, solid music, solid gameplay, interesting puzzles, and just an overall nice package. As a remaster/port thing... I mean, you lose out on the touch controls and some of the UI gets screwed a bit by the fact there's only one screen (the original was on the DS), and a few animations didn't scale too well going from like 144p to 1080p. Funnily, the DS version used a few "cheats" to make a few effects work, but those little tricks are a lot more obvious in this version, heh. The art itself is mostly cleaned up for the PC release at least, and being high res is nice most of the time, so that's nice. Things they added direct to the game in the post-DS world, there's not much, there's a remastered soundtrack, and the side bars on the screen can be changed, plus you can unlock art and such via...
