A good game with great replayability. It only takes a few hours to beat, but is very fun to play again with different spells and item combos.

This game was exactly what I needed. It's totally old school, and brought me back to the fun I used to have playing nintendo and n64 games, before it became all about graphics and video sequences. That said, the turn based combat system is very innovative, the casting and welding unlike anything I have seen. I hope there will be more in this series! Buy this, I promise you will get far more than your $5 worth of entertainment out of it.
An indie developed RPG that pulls many elements from the pixel art era. Turn-based combat is similar to pokemon, yet does not have random encounters. Enemies can be seen on the overworld (and avoided in some cases), but will pull you into a battle screen for combat. Unless on the hardest difficulty, the opening will ease you into the mechanics for roughly an hour, but then quickly removes the hand holding, and can take drastic steps in difficulty as you progress. Differing enemy types made me change my combos up several times. Was fun to think on my feet. The story will last you roughly 4 to 6 hours depending on difficulty, but there is depth and re-playability based on characters, towns, items, monsters, and weld combos. Beat the game once to unlock the rest of the character roster. Good romp, Have fun!
