I consider this game a baby souls games. I enjoyed the exploration and the combat mechanics. I liked the companions and their side quests. I know this game got some flack on release, but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and time in the game. Don't get me wrong, the game isn't ground breaking, but the soundtrack, the graphics and the environments were enjoyable. Especially the soundtrack, I really didn't mind hearing the music while I played, while other games the music can get annoying. It's a bit of hack and slash mixed with some RPG elements, but it's fun.

7/10 for me. it's pretty decent for a short action game. Nice visuals, okay story that only really becomes interesting over the last couple of chapters, but I liked the cast well enough As for the combat, it's...okay. It's fun when things go well, but you're locked into animations a lot of the time and it can quickly become frustrating when you're getting juggled because you were locked into a spear animation. Animation cancel in some form would have gone a LONG way here i'd recommend it if you're looking for something short and flashy to play, but only if you're getting it on sale. It ain't worth the full price
