Good brain exercise for sure! The game is easy to understand and has simple controls. Art style is minimalistic and non-distracting. Do not attempt some of the harder levels before having a cup of coffee, though!

Absolutely love this title so far. As a huge fan of chess and unique strategy games SokoChess scratches that perfect itch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good challenge

Have played all this dev's puzzle games and this is another gem.

This is a little gem, the solutions feel soooo satisfying when you finally get them right. Really enjoying the mood with the music and the way the pieces move and defeat each other. Some of the levels are a bit complex but it really takes the base game of chess beyond and shows you what can be accomplished. The permutations of pieces and mechanics are very cleverly thought out. Really enjoying this one!

It's Sokoban with chess piece movement rules. The concept works really well and remains interesting and challenging all the way through. Mechanics like tiles you can only cross once, tiles that protect you from opponent captures and tiles that promote pawns (both your own and your opponent's) are introduced at regular intervals to keep the game feeling fresh. I highly recommend it.

fun mechanics! the interplay between chess and sokoban is super sweet: you can evade or sacrifice, and you can dance around the board sokoban-style to get things into position. i guess i'm like 35ish levels in and am excited to keep playing. woohoo!

I love puzzle games, and when i saw one of my favorite puzzle mechanics of all time get mixed with chess rules i couldn't say no. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who like chess or puzzle games in general.
