Super Chill game, a little too easy but there's 4 difficulty options so you can turn it up and down as needed. Main character is Pieberry. She likes pies and strawberries, that's why she named herself that, that pretty much sums up the entire game.

It's interesting, because it's a bit janky, the english translation is slightly off, and it has a ton of different rpg mechanics, crafting, magic, monster collector, etc. But it's actually a solid little RPG that really scratches that itch to play a good RPG but not want to dump 100's of hours into it. Highly recommend as great experience and suprisingly good story.
Expectation: Cozy game with little witch on a journey while casting flashy magic spell and crafting potion Reality: Cozy game with little witch on a journey while smashing/bonking/annihilating everyone and everything with a fancy stick called a magic staff while casting flashing magic spell and crafting potion 10/10 would recommend this game Early to mid game review (subject to change, maybe) Very cozy and chill game where you go on a journey as Pieberry, our main character, to chase her dreams. She will face challenges and along the way she will meet new companion and new friends. Easy going game, there is no punishment for losing an encounter. You won't lose anything including the items you used during said encounter and the game will set you back to the latest auto-save point. So just get back up and keep leveling up Pieberry until she is strong enough to retry the encounter. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty so there is quite a few stat check so grinding stats is a necessity...
Obligatory "I seldom review games, but this merits" Nowhere near finished, Very Hard mode, might update review after. TLDR; so far, honest to goodness solid modern turn based goodness. A few prickles here and there, but so much to like. One of the best when it comes to respecting the player's time. 9.3/10 so far from a jaded gamer. Minor mechanical non-story spoilers, big ramble, clown incoming: Apologies for the ramble and the negativity upfront, but there are a few little issues that seems glaring for a game this polished, maybe isolated to my install somehow, but: - When restoring mana, it often (if not always?) displays your current mana as the number that flashes above the character, rather than the amount of mana restored. Doesn't really matter, but annoying to keep seeing out of the corner of my eye. -Pet Summoning mana costs: I understand they're strong, and maybe this is irrelevant later game, but with how often the game randomly de-summons your pet, because of screen trans...
One of the best JRPGs i've played. Cute aesthetics, alright plot and fun combat. Played on hard, didnt need any grinding to beat the main story, needed lategame weapons for Epilogue - shouldnt be a problem if you're going for 100% like me. High build diversity in weapon evolutions/stats, pets and melee/caster split. Hard recommend if you like JRPGs, decent first JRPG if you're new to the genre.
Read other reviews. It's a great game, and my only complaint is that the turn order preview only updates any changes after you've finished your turn, which isn't too big of a problem.
Played the game through to the very end. First let me say this since it seems less then 10% of people who played the game played the Epilogue... After you beat the game, there is more. PLAY THE EPILOGUE. Alright now my rating. So right off the back you meet Pieberry. She likes Pies and Strawberries so she named herself Pieberry. (Keep that in mind.) An incredibly cheerful, innocent and good natured girl. She lives by herself in a forest protected by a Giant Golem. You may think due to her nature this game would be light hearted. It is not. I wanna say more but for the purpose of this review I will keep it there. The game has an amazing story. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but for what it went with I'd easily give it a perfect score. The gameplay is a simple 'speed base turn battle system' where only Pieberry is a targetable unit on your side. She can captur...
Review at time of getting to the 2nd stage of the final boss on normal first play through. The story is kind of good it follows a girl who is a witch through her adventure to go kill the pope. The reason why to kill the pope is the pope ordered all witches captured or killed. The game play is kind of good as the puzzles do not repeat from temple to temple just inside the same temple they do. The enemies do get redundant while all you have to do is use 1 magic skill and everything dies. I am happy for "quick hunt" as battles of enter battle use which ever lighting magic is the strongest i have then all enemies die would get boring. The game ends on chapter 7 and a huge hp and damage spike going from everything else to the story bosses in chapter 7. Even bigger when you get to and after you kill the pope. For magics it seems like it had a good mix of them. For stats after i got the only 3 that strength is useless for a magic build it was good. Just probably need 3000 more into magic tha...
Starts cute and gets darker, turnbased combat with some fun mechanics, adorable characters through and through, slight adjusting of battle style possible, with some simple crafting thrown in. If you like RPGs, I see no reason to not recommend this. What I found most positive is that I never felt as if there was streching of anything - dungeons arent longer than they need to be (last dungeon is like 5 rooms :D), story beats keep coming, battles can be finished quickly, especially in the mid-/endgame phase when you're just farming for weapon materials. At least it felt like that for me. In the whole main story, there was literally only one situation where i wished for a speedup button,
and that was in endgame with like 5 pets in battle when for each of the protagonists and boss' turn each of the pets would get two, so there was a long stretch of just watching the pets attacking.
Other than that, combat was engaging, story wasnt blown up, dialogues were inte...
TL;DR A solid adventure RPG game, that's just interesting enough to keep you playing, while not rushing you. The visuals, story, music, they all fit together very well. 9/10 The Good Gameplay: Originally a mobile game, but it's been ported well with the controls. The gameplay itself kind of reminds me of farming sim games, but with RPG elements. Similar to Rune Factory, but without an acutal farm and the dating aspect. The RPG battle portion isn't too deep, but it is enough to keep things interesting. There are decent amount of QoL things like being able to skip easy battles. The Visuals: Honestly the best part of the game. The characters, environment, artwork, they are all excellent. The characters move enough during most parts of the game to show their personalities, and just overall fun to watch. The Bad Gameplay: Mostly minor gripes, but I wish all cut scenes were skippable in a faster way. Also if you're looking to 100% some of the respawn time mechanic will grind your ge...
