Garden In!

I don't know, maybe I was playing it wrong? That's the nagging feeling I had throughout the game. I just wanted a very chill, low intensity game that lets me grow plants and decorate nice spaces. I didn't want to fill entire rooms with random plants, see them ugly and bug-infested every time I open the game and go through the same tedious steps over and over again. I was also baffled by the lack of what I thought was basic QOL features in a game that's been out for a while with "very positive" reviews: - There's a mouseover symbol for plants that need watering... but not while you have the watering can equipped - The Herbarium shows you pictures or (if not yet grown) shadows of the plants you need to pair for getting a new seed, but you have to remember every single plant or click through the pages until you find the right ones. Simple mouseover to show the plant name shouldn't have been a problem. - The menu for planting seeds doesn't show you the pictures or names of the plants,...

It's the kind of relaxing game you play in short sessions as the plants keep growing even when you're not playing. The flower breeding angle is super fun and the game have a LOT to offer with decorating each of your rooms in various themes!

Game deleted save instead of quitting, apparently you can click the delete save option even though it is not on screen and the confirmation does not indicate that you clicked it. The delete save button should not be directly under the quit button. That is way too easy to click and when both say "are you sure?" how tf is the player supposed to know which one has been clicked in order to back out. I also do not care for the games controls, either make everything click and drag or single click, It varies by what you're doing and its annoying.

Game does not run well on the Steam deck, despite the "verified" badge. Requested a refund.
