Tiqee's Escape is a fun, quick little game. You play as Tiqee, an escaped goblin who has brighter dreams for her future, and possesses the will to reach them. The game focuses on battles and using resources to create and upgrade your robot allies, all while you escape a dangerous cavern. The game's most unique aspect its its combat. Many games have the protagonist be a fighter or mage/knight hybrid, but in this game, Tiqee is more of a support character. She does have a few strong attacks, but most of her skills involve helping her robots perform better or restoring their resources, which is really unique. The battles are fairly challenging, but manageable. I didn't grind at all and I won the game, but it is there if you feel like you need it, which is welcome. Tiqee's skills are nice, especially the sleeping gas, which lets you disable many enemies, including bosses. I always love when a game lets you land statuses on boss enemies, and this one is no exception. The story is simple,...

I love games that rewards their players for exploring, and this game does just that! Dungeon Rummage Tiqees escape is a fun game, you get to play as a goblin/human girl who is crafty and creates robots that she commands in battle. This game is meant to be explored and rewarded and having a keen and sharp eye is the key. This is a good choice for those who want to try something different!
Fun little game. The tinkering and dungeon exploring mechanics are pretty fun, and Tiqee is a pretty cool character. Combat felt like it could use a little balancing, for example defender bot was sometimes a liability since he didn't have great HP or Defense, and AoEs hit him as well, which meant more resource drain. Some TP moves were weaker than regular moves, and had little upside. Other moves seemed to exist only to counteract a single enemy, and had little upside. A little tinkering of these things could have smoothed out some issues with combat, but I admit i found it quite fun and am looking forward to completing it.
Cute little top-view Dungeon Crawler.
A game in which you, a lone goblin, build and manage bots who bear the brunt of the battles for you. The player controls Tiqee who has a basic attack skill, some skills to debuff the enemy, and another set of skills to order her bots to deliver special attacks. There is a small variety of resources, that can either be found in the dungeon or dropped by enemies, to be used to buy or create items and ultimately upgrade your bots. Because the bots are all CPU-controlled, the battles are pleasantly fast-paced, with a nice variety of both combat music and enemies. You will build just three bots, each with just one alternative module that can be found in the dungeon to add some options for combat. It's very simple but good enough for the length of the game. Boss battles occur suddenly and without warning, but unless you have kept your bots unattended to, it isn't particularly unreasonable. There's also an optional boss that requires a little...
This was a fun dungeon crawl type rpg, uncommon in the rpgmaker space. Good balance and gets addicting once you start. The level setup done well. The developer must be a master at map design.
TL;DR: Final Playtime: 1:55:00 Deaths: 1 Fun had: 8/10 Now the long version: Tiqee's Escape is - above all else - interesting. You play as the eponymous Tiqee as she (you guessed it) escapes from a multi-tiered dungeon, in which she lives with the rest of her Goblin Tribe. Tiqee isn't a fighter, or a mage - but what she lacks in traditional battle skills she more than makes up for in mechanical know-how. This is where the central gimmick of the game comes in: Robots! You control Tiqee herself, but the remainder of the party consists of robots you craft yourself from scrap and blueprints conveniently lying around the dungeon. You start out with a Sentry bot (a stand-in for DPS), but soon pick up Defender (Tank) and Support (Healer) robots - all of which have multiple configurations called "Mods" which you can install to change up their main functions, as well as the commands available to Tiqee on her turn to give these adorable droids an additional action. Sentry can be a powerful...
This game is one of those games that is hard to put down once you get into it! It has some really cool enemies, fire music, and Tiqee is such a cool protagonist. Plus, the story connects to a larger narrative, which is awesome!
A VERY good example of how one should do their first RPG Maker release. The price matches the length perfectly. They do a good job of making what RPG Maker does best; make a dungeon crawler. The bots and their mechanisms are well thought out and offer a different experience than the standard RPG Maker dungeon crawler and I will gladly add the next game to my wishlist and buy it to support the dev.
An RPG Maker game that is actually a game of its own and not another JRPG. Combat can be dull in the early going (it's too tempting to grind out new tinkers when you first find blueprints), but exploring a dungeon to find materials to craft your own party members is a neat twist. Using your turn to manage a part of robots is way more interesting than your standard RPG Maker/JRPG fare. Game appears short enough to get the most of its mechanics and introducing new concepts before it gets stale.
Playing thoroughly, this game is around 2-3 hours. The one thing I'd recommend is to not grind. There's a lot of cool hidden things to explore. Outside of a few custom assets, it looks like most other RPG Maker games and that may put off some, but the price I think is right.
