It is a fun game but it lacks in, well... Being fun I guess. It feels like I am clocking in on a 9-5 job because you have to constantly move your cards and villagers every second and you have no time to relax and you have to pause the game very often in order to think and reorganize your cards. The micromanaging is too much and I wish there was some form of automation and storage of more of the cards so it is not chaotic all of the time. It feels more stressful then fun. The only reason I gave this a positive review is because it is unique and is fun for a bit until you get a few hours into a run and it just is not fun anymore. If you want a game that will entertain you for about 10 hours before it gets shelved then this game is for you because it is cheap. But if you are looking for a fun long-term game then this is definitely not for you.

This game is perfect,. Nothing needs to be changed. The game play loop is forever fun. There is challenges and goals you can work towards no matter what stage of the game you're in. There is an entire second section for you to face. All this while having to manage food and space. This game is so much and so much more than it looks on the surface.
I don't usually review games but this game is great. You have fun discovering things, recommend new players to start with the long option as it gives you enough time to adapt on your first play-trough. Core mechanic keeps you engaged and its a good game to come back to. Also for those who suffer with OCD the "E" on keyboard saves you. I found out recently...
Interesting concept, but the gameplay loop gets tedious quickly.
Rating: 8.5/ 10 Positives: - Unique gameplay and approach - Cute drawings Negatives: - Long progression if you don't strategize well - Can get overwhelming but again thats a player to player thing Notes: Pretty fund card strategy game. Personally this is the first time I've played a game of this type and even got the DLC for it. I found it pretty enjoyable and even relaxing at times. The grind can get real though and the overwhelming amount of cards on your board can begin piling up but personally I was okay with it. So far I've played for about 5 hours consecutively/ in multiple sessions and made it past the first stage in about 3 hours. But that might also just be because I enjoy seeing my colony working well before I have to start all over again lol
Mid-Late game becomes completely unmanageable. They don't give you anywhere near enough space to keep things organized and they keep spawning enemies in random places on your table absolutely mucking up your neatly organized piles. The system of buying and opening packs of cards is cute, but it also becomes very tedious as there are many items you need to get from killing enemies, and each pack only has 1 enemy and several other junk items. The packs don't stack and you need to open them 1 by 1 in a designated area for fighting so it doesn't mess up your industry stacks. I wish I could just craft more of the items, because fighting is easy but much more annoying. The UI for looking up ideas is way too small and doesn't let you easily find the things you want to look for. Really should have filters for tags like [Head armor], [Body], [Production]
Saw this game from RCE and I was sure to get it and play it myself. Such a fun game, it's so addicting.
Highly reccomend. Super fun, can play for hours but also easy to save your progess and come back to.
It's a really, really good game. I just... don't like it. It's amazingly well developed. I just don't currently enjoy it. I can recommend it to others just fine.
You can absolutely lose yourself in this game for hours on end. It starts really simple and all of a sudden you're keeping track of all the cycles that are going on and the resources and enemies and and and.
