About This Game

To win in Mineralis, not only do you have to beat the game, you have to understand it. In this fresh take on the JRPG genre, you’ll discover the powerful shaping force of deep relationships and moral dilemmas. In a land torn by conflict, it is not the bravest or the most capable who will win, but the one who will make the right decisions.

DEEP JRPG EXPERIENCE

Meet a full set of unique characters, each vividly portrayed and with their own personalities. Their rich psychological representation offers you various ways to interact with them. Engage in meaningful discussions about Mineralis, the journey, and how they view you. Or skip the dialogues entirely. It’s up to you to decide how you would treat them.

CHOICES AND CONSEQUENCES

What you do – and what you don’t – impacts the living world of Mineralis. Will you trust the foreigner asking for help, not knowing if he is lying to you? Will you risk your companions’ lives crossing a cave overrun by ogres just to take a shortcut?

Everything is meaningful, and the outcomes are not linear.

TACTICAL COMBAT. EASY TO LEARN, HARD TO MASTER

In Mineralis, winning a fight is not a mere elaboration of stats, but rather, it requires precise thinking. Adapt your strategy at every turn, switch between targets or focus your attacks creatively to prevail. The risk of death is real, so spend the time you need to correctly assess the situation. And remember. Sometimes, the best option is to avoid combat!

Mineralis is calling for you. Shape your story and immerse yourself in this epic journey.

The themes discussed in this game are not suitable for children.

I'd say play this game if: * You are looking for a interesting combat experience * Want to read a book and think about ethics The combat in this game is definitely the highlight for me. This game explores the limits of what rpg maker combat can be, it's somehow fast paced for a turn based system and the fact that you recover your mana between fights is a welcome mechanic, letting you use your full toolkit every fight :+1: Thus somehow every combat encounter required me to think and use my brains instead of the classic "spam auto attack" strategy, this combat system has depth, maybe the most depth you can have with just the basic rpg maker game. Tells me that the games creator really cared about combat and spent some hours honing it. The story is a pretty normal one with a MC going for a revenge trip while finding himself, but the content of the conversations and the npcs are shaped to make you think about your life choises, do you want to be kind, what does it mean for you to help ...

An interesting take on the JRPG genre. The well-crafted story explores themes around conflict. I'd recommend if you're into classic RPG Maker type of games.
Been a while since I've played a JRPG, and I'm glad Mineralis didn't disappoint

Gripping story. I'm yet to finish the game but from what I've seen so far the writing has been great, the stakes are high, and the characters are engaging.
Excellent world building. Every city you visit has a unique vibe to it, it's presented to the player through the game's simple yet beautiful visuals, it's great music and the conversations you'll be having with its inhabitants. On that note - every NPC you encounter is unique, and you are able to interact multiple times to find out more about them and the world they inhabit. ALSO, they react to you interacting with the world, for example, if you try to enter somebody's home without their permission they will let you know about this, all around great stuff and clearly a lot of care has gone into creating this world.
Fun combat. To me, the combat felt like a mix between Shin Megami Tensei a...
