Unironically LOVE this game so much. Ignoring all the nsfw stuff, I genuinely love how well everything feels in this game. The character, the environment, the art, even down to the menus and music. All of it feels so well put together. I love how oddly complex all the characters are in their own strange ways; Celia being a stressed out business woman in a loveless marriage who buys you as a way to have something she can let her stress out on. Derek being a sadist who seems to want nothing more than to make you cry for his own amusement while being looked down upon by the others in the group. Mason being a hunter who’s seemingly bored of the basic animals, moving onto things such as humans for a more fulfilling hunt. And don’t even get me started on Fox! Absolutely LOVED everything about this game. long time btd fan, this game is certified goated fr (Ren Hana my beloved) also being a ren'py game developer myself its really fun to see how Gatobob uses the program in such interesting ways, it's a looot different than how her older games were like and its AWESOME. TPOF was in development for like years I think and it payed off well. Ren'py is an easy vn program to learn, but its hard to master and utilize it to its best of abilities. Yet the UI in TPOF is clean, utilized, and has a clock/inventory/day cycles and extra room movement. That may sound silly to comment on since a lot of VNs already showcase these mechanics but compared to BTD it was pleasantly surprising for me. I sincerely cannot wait for how her future games will show her ever-growing skills and writing. Thank you Gatobob :( <3
