Very simple but the instructions are a bit confusing, A tutorial would be perfect to tell me what a jab and cross are, and just being able to spend more time on one segment then have it jumbled with everything thing else would be awesome

**Updated 5/21/22** I like this developer. He? listened to the players and added a guide that explains the movements and even included a 3D model to show us the motions. The only things I'm still not clear on is how to access the menu during a training session and how to exit the game from within the game. **Original Review** Some sort of explanation of the different moves would be nice, but my biggest issue is the layout: I'd like it if the instruction window was above the placement of the mats so I can read it clearly without having to weave around them. Speaking of the pads: why would the default position for the hook be outside of my shoulder? It may just me being ignorant because I am not a boxer, but isn't my goal to hit my opponent in the head rather than the shoulder? The way it is positioned by default, I have to awkwardly swing my fist across the front of my body at a 45-degree angle to hit it, which I think would cause me to completely miss an opponent's face - unless I'...
This is the best boxing training simulator I've tried in VR (I've tried all the popular boxing games on PC and PSVR and as fun as they can be, they all suck for developing realistic habits of movement). This one had a timing issue that I noted in my original review (it played more like a rhythm game than real training): the developer immediately fixed the game so you can now hit the pads as fast as you like, and the pads wait for you if you want to pause and think about the next combination. It's as close as you can get to real drills, in VR. Simple but configurable (you can place the pads where you want them): obviously you can't throw weight into e.g. body shots as with real pad work, but you can get pretty close to the authentic movements, so it's not only a good cardio workout, but for once (unlike so many other boxing games in VR) it's not building terrible boxing habits while you workout. The only remaining annoyance is just one that's common to all VR boxing and has nothing to ...
Excellent for some quick cardio and drills. Different to boxing in real life. Would be great with hand tracking so u could hav a more natural fist when punching
Decent for the price
Exactly what it says it is. Great cardio. Put on some tunes and work up a sweat.
simple boxing trainer focusing on what you need to do when you wanna training boxing. great value for the money. but I believe you can make it distinguish jab and cross by sensing which controller's hitting the mitt
Never thought I'd get motion sickness in a stationary game... the background moves with you, it's horrible. The game doesn't actually require you to put any effort or force into your punches, you only have to gently pet the target. Despite my best efforts to align the game with my orientation, the UI/pads appeared at about 45° angle to my right (which, admittedly, not necessarily the game's fault, but in beat saber for example, you can tinker with the room to fit you the best). I won't refund this, but only because it costs less than a dollar, and it actually kinda delivers that much value, and other reviewers said the dev listens, so here's their chance.
Never written a review before but was so delighted, I just had to. Game's concept is perfect and the price is astonishingly good. Lets you calibrate gloves, shows guides of the movement, customizable drills and it honestly feels like a drill. Only issues are slight tracking issues, usually with my left hook but not complaining for the price. If the developer makes some polishes to the game and made some advertisements online for it like on Tiktok, advertising is as a VR fitness/training game then it could be more successful. Wish this could get more love as it's heavily underrated and has great potential. Love the game Mr/Ms Developer!
Very good game considering its price, only wish it could have an exit button so i can go back to the main menu, for custom work you can set the amount of drills to do and also set which punches you want to throw instead of a combo you can choose from the menu
