Drifting Kings

Everything I've wanted in a Initial D x Tokyo Drift type game. This game has a lot of potential! At it's core, it's a great little game. A few things, all fixable: 1) UI is atrocious - the font is not easily readable, different menu elements overlap in 1440p resolution, menus don't take controller input most of the time, menu navigation could be better 2) The game freezes/crashes upon alt+tabbing or even exiting through the menus 3) Suggestions - needs to add a minimap for touge, the arrow indicator for gymkhana should lead further out and have a trailing dotted line PLEASE FIX!

Drifting Kings has the potential for a truly special game, no doubt online personalities like Goosiest will soon showcase this game on their channel once it gets shared around and becomes more well-known. Only having 30 minutes in Drifting Kings so far, this won't be an in-depth review of the experience, but it was so enjoyable that I needed to share my joy of it. Keep in mind also that I've only played the Touge mode of the game, but there is so much content in it that it could be a game all by itself. There is a staggering number of tracks and cars to choose from, there's something for everyone in Drifting Kings. Visuals: The style is reminiscent of games like Capcom's 2002 "Auto Modellista" with a strong Japanese influence. Sakura leaves will float through the air, the mountain scenery is just like the Japanese locations, and there are nice little touches of things like other drivers and fans excitedly cheering the racers on, life continuing on far in the background, these things ...

This is an absolute gem. The arcade physics feel good, visual and graphic style feels incredible and refreshing. All and all, the game itself is really well made. If you loved Art Of Rally and Star Drift Evolution, this game is for you. great indie development 10/10.

just not really fun, thought i would like it but the sense of speed to judge a corner is not there, you can't tell if you're overspeed. the UI is obviously minimal effort and the grip physics just don't make much sense.

I love the mechanics of the game, drifting is very fun. worth your money 10/10
