About This Game

Spells

Unlock and master various self casting spells with unique talents and masteries to slay the horde of never ending enemies!

Bosses

If the hordes weren’t enough, your increase in power attracts formidable foes. These bosses will way the hero down with powerful debuffs, dispatch them quickly, before you become overwhelmed.

Items

In efforts to aid your journey, chests with build defining items have been scattered across the lands. Anvils can also be found and used to forge ancient relics, which can be activated for boosts in power.

Talents

Defeating bosses garners the attention of Soul Forgers who will mend the hero’s fragmented soul and grant boons, but beware, the being that stole it in the first place still roams the lands.

Unlocks

Failure is still progress towards success. Unlock new spells, items, and more as you gain prestige. Coins can also be spent in the shop to boost the hero’s power, or to further line your pockets.

Can you make it past level 35?

Uninstalled and refunded when I saw the mechanic that made you lose when there were too many enemies on the screen. Enemies messing with your controls were fine but the same boss repeatedly with the same gimmick got annoying. The 500% volume on game launch made it feel like a troll game as I got blasted and shot my headphones against the wall. I hope this game didn't permanently damage my $2000 headphones.

This game has one of the most bizarrely poor design decisions I've even encountered in a bullet Heaven game. If there are too many enemies on the screen, you die. Let me state that again: if there are too many enemies on the screen in this game that's all about killing tons and tons of enemies, you immediately lose the game. Like, what? The worst part is that before release, someone in the discussions for this game called this out as unfun and the dev just didn't fix it. I hate to be hard on this game but it's not a fun mechanic. Coupled with the lack of proper controller support (key binding is not the same as controller support), the weird audio issues (game somehow launched on first start at 500% master, plus whenever you go into the pause or level up menu the sound distorts), and that the controls somehow deteriorated as gameplay progressed and this is a pretty solid not recommend. At points my character was moving the opposite direction of my input, like there was some kind ...

NO! - Imagine you are playing Vampire Survivors. You are doing great and taking no damage and then you suddenly DIE just because somehow your slow auto attacks aren't killing the mobs quickly enough! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM1QulwrMKc So you fail because of a design flaw in the game mechanics that you have zero control over no matter how well are you maneuvering and doing. And YES, I did and read the "tutorial". The mobs and auto attacks, the art and all are just fine. But this insta-dying because your auto attacks are somehow not killing enough mobs is the DUMBEST AND MOST FRUSTRATING CRUD EVER! I can picture how the developer of this game came up with this absolutely ridiculous game design... Dev... "Yeah I got a good idea to make my game stand out from all the other VS type games... I'm going to insta kill the player based on something he has ZERO control over! Bwah ha! ha! ..That will be sure to keep them playing!" Player (Me)... "No! I refuse after two games ...

I randomly came across this game, and as a massive fan of roguelikes and, more recently, survivor-likes, I found this one to look interesting. It was on sale, but the negative reviews warned of a horrific sounding mechanic where if too many enemies were on the map, your run just ends. Sounds counter-intuitive to this type of game. There was an update just recently where this mechanic was changed from outright killing you to immensely debuffing you instead. I decided to take the plunge with a 20% discount and try my luck. I did not enjoy it. I couldn't get past the first boss, the first level, nothing. I'm not saying it's all the game's fault, but I found many frustrating, anti-gaming mechanics thrown in here that made little sense beyond packing the game in with frustration. You start off with a very slow firing, low damage bow that fires automatically. You'll get swarmed pretty quickly in this game. The balance of ramping up the amount of enemies versus your own power is very tipped ...

Feels like a alpha game, due to low amount of content and weird features for example enemies can still damage you while their in the death animation

I got bored pretty quickly. In fact right from the start with the unnecessary story monologue. There are not enough ability types, at least early on. The sound design is lackluster. The fact that (to my knowledge) you can't manually target enemies makes boss enemies really tough to deal with. Keep in mind I only played probably 30 minutes, maybe it gets better.
