Absolute Cinema!!
You'd better buckle up, cause this amazing story is a long one.
I love the soundtracks, especially the map theme called Flowers in the Dusty Wilderness.
Do get the patch for the full experience.
Note that the game is story-driven heavy, so the h-scenes are seen more later on. For the Bad End route, you must have every character in your party. Story first, goon later.

Already the mechanics of the battles are more well thought out than most RPG maker games. The UI design is aesthetically pleasing, The story is still sort of developing, it really feels like the beginning festival area in "Chrono Trigger" but not as interactive as that IP was with their festival beginning area.
Seems like a very promising Story, so far, as it's taking it's time to develop.
Will add more if I feel it's relavent to further elaborating the review.

This was, for me, the best story ever made for a game, the plot is tightly written and extremely consistent from the start all the way to the end, and the characters were written with absolute intentionality. The game has some elements that are silly and unnecessary (mostly in reference to the content patch), but the pay-off for this experience is a masterfully executed and deeply emotional finale that is sure to stick with you.
Warning: Demons Roots requires you to install its content patch, it isn't possible to finish the game without it.
