Battle Tracks

Pretty cool game! Gameplay is simple but challenging, and the graphics are great! I played solo so can't speak for the co-op part, but definitely looking forward to give it a go when given the chance.

Very fun casual game Plenty of variety in terms of the levels I've played thus far, and the challenges seem well designed so far. Having custom level tools is also a huge plus. I am not the biggest fan of boss levels where the enemy takes several dozen shots while you die after one, but luckily these are in the minority of levels, and the creators are very receptive to feedback so if you run into bugs or serious gameplay issues, they will at least hear you out.

Battle tracks is an intense, hectic, and at times even frustrating (in a good way!) tank 'em up game with crisp graphics, snappy controls and really solid gameplay. So far I'm about 5 hours in and have completed the first 3 zones, each of which has many levels in it. The levels are small, confined spaces with specific tasks to achieve in order to get maximum stars, so each one is quite a different and unique challenge. The challenges really help to give variety to the game, forcing you to think about how you approach each level, then testing your skills as you set about clearing the enemies. This is top notch indie-game making - a fabulous looking product which plays great and gives plenty of those old-school adrenaline rushes that keep you engaged. Definitely one to get!

If you liked Tanks! from Wii Play, you will more than likely enjoy this game. Checking the over world for secrets is nice between stages. This unlocks cosmetics. You are able to play the campaign in 2 player mode or up to 4 players in the death match style mode. There's also an option for using Crowd Control which lets other people cause mayhem or help. Some examples include disable bouncing for bullets, bullets go through walls, and make all tanks big. This is mainly used for streaming, but you could just do a smaller group on Discord with some friends if you wanted. The game recently added a rogue-like mode for people wanting more of a challenge.

Tanks, with an added level of difficulty if you're terrible at bullet hell games like me. worth a try.

A fresh take on a classic. So much variety and unique design around a simple premise makes it just as much a puzzle game as a top-down shooter.
