About This Game

Being an upstanding tomb explorer like Indiana Jones is lame: I'm sure he doesn't even make good money!
But you, you've got what it takes: you won't hesitate to push your friend into a spike trap so you can steal the precious artifacts they spent time gathering!

Tomb Robbing with Friends is a player-versus-player party game where you try to gather more coins, gems and ingots than your friends. Dodge mummies, dash in front of arrow traps, and sell all that sweet shiny loot to win the game!

Features:

 • One-button gameplay: Move with the joystick, press A to grab stuff or shove your friends, that's it!
 • Multiple levels: Explore the mysterious Pyramid filled with slow but unrelenting mummies, dodge skeletons in the Crypt, and meet spooky ghosts in the Temple!
 • Cool modifiers: Want more challenge? Turn off the light, make the traps deadlier, or spawn more enemies!
 • Customize your character: Unlock new customization elements each time you play and become the tomb robber with infinite drip!

And more!

 • Controller support for up to 8 players!*
 • Online multiplayer support with Steam Remote Play Together!
 • You can make fun of your friends at any time by pressing A!
 • Cool cel-shaded characters which bear a weird resemblance to Funko Pops!

*Windows does not handles more than 4 XBOX controllers very well and this causes issues when disconnecting/reconnecting them. It is recommended to play with Steam Remote Play Together when there are more than 4 players.

i was genuinely surprised that this game was beginner friendly and thats saying a lot because im TERRIBLE at basically every video game that has ever existed, its a very fun casual game and i imagine it would be more fun and chaotic when played with friends!! it does require coordination and some of the directional keys would benefit from being able to change controls (for some reason the down key goes up and vice versa, it would be cool to be able to configure settings!). i also think the tutorial could be a bit more accessible with clear instructions, but it is relatively easy to figure out by playing around with the controls. you can really see the heart that was put into this game, be it from the visual graphics and modeling, to the gameplay. if you are looking for a game thats fun to play on a late night while on vc, i think this would be a really good add to your library! cheers :>

I have a friend, with whom I play multiplayer games a lot. He's the one who startles the witch in L4D. He's the guy who closes the door behind me and leaves me with the zombies. He doesn't care. He laughs and carries on. This guy, this guy is gonna eat shit in Tomb Robbing with Friends. PS: if I had one suggestion to make it would be to get some more music done for the game maybe, although wanting to tear your own ears out is probably part of the experience.

Excruciatingly awful game. Just on every level. Mechanically very simple, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the fact that the developer was working with such a simply conceit and managed to, in every conceivable way, mess it up, is almost breath-taking. The hit boxes, for instance, are almost entirely inscrutable and, to make matters worse, even one single hit will deprive you of every item you've picked up. In a game centered on picking things up for points. One single hit can essential render a game immediately unwinnable. I found the controls quite slippery also, which compounds the previous issues. The lobby is itself a huge issue. It's remarkable that a LOBBY could be such a mechanical setback, something which is, in most games, almost unrecognizable as a feature of gameplay. The lobby in Tomb Robbing with Friends is also the tutorial. There's other games with this conceit -- Soviet Jump Game comes to mind -- but Tomb Robbing makes it a chore you ha...

It's a great party game to play with a group of friends. It's very polished throughout with little elements that add to the overall experience. Some of my favourite stuff include: the pvp hand slapping which can really get you and your friends riled up adding to the great competitive fun, the unlockables which are really varied and unique like weird character voices, as well as the modifiers to add to your levels to keep them fresh and interesting for longer replayability. Would recommend!
