About This Game

Embark on a high-flying journey through the remnants of ancient civilizations and uncover the mysteries behind their downfall. As you traverse skies teeming with wonder and danger, harness advanced technology to overcome challenges and push the boundaries of human ingenuity.

You’ll need to explore ancient ruins and utilize Atlas, the mysterious power that keeps the world afloat, to solve puzzles and discover the precious technology left behind by those who came before. However, danger lurks around every corner on both land and in the air. Fight against the ancient turrets and drones that hunt you across the floating islands, and engage in epic sky battles with colossal beings that have been roaming the skies since they brought about humanity's destruction.

In this vast, open world, your journey will be defined by the skyship you create. This isn’t just your vessel, it’s your home and your weapon. With Lost Skies’ deep ship crafting system, you can place parts freely to construct a flying fortress that’s as unique as your imagination. You’ll need to balance durability, agility, and firepower as you tailor your ship to face the challenges ahead. No two skyships are the same, so let your creativity take flight!

Why just fly when you can glide, grapple, and climb your way through the skies? Scale sharp cliff faces or traverse the floating islands of Lost Skies with a physics-based grappling hook, hang glider, and wingsuit that makes every leap and bound exhilarating. Explore seamlessly, moving freely between distant horizons and breathtaking landmarks. This world isn’t just beautiful, it’s yours to conquer, one daring move at a time.

Let your imagination run wild with Lost Skies’ intuitive Island Creator. Design and build custom islands, then share them with the community through the Steam Workshop. Download and explore other players’ creations to expand your adventure. The skies are limitless, and so is the creativity of its explorers.

Join the Discord to join the active Lost Skies community filled with creative visionaries and eager explorers who are helping to shape the future of the game!

As this is an early access game, bugs will be apparent. There is no denying this. But when there is GAME-BREAKING bugs that RESETS your entire progress, I cannot recommend this game what-so-ever until they've been dealt with 100%. Not "we're looking at it" or "we think we fixed it" No. Fix it. 100%. Using the core teleport and my friends ship COMPLETELY deleting itself from the game. Unplayable. Camera that has a mind of it's own when mining rocks, causing them to destroy themselves. Slightly Unplayable. Having items from your inventory OR storage on your ship disappear. Unplayable. This game has the potential to be great. There is no doubt about it. Bossa Studios, get your game-breaking bugs fixed before what little following you have left is gone forever.

First, Worlds Adrift as a concept and a game even with all it's bugs was Incredibly fun to play. Exploration was really really good. I loved the PVP. But there were a lot of bugs. It is on my list of favorite games I've ever played even though it ended early and had bugs. That said, IF YOU ARE AN ** INVERTED Y ** PLAYER, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME. They do not know how to code Inverted Y properly. The issue existed in Worlds Adrift, and the issue exists here. I have refunded the game until this is fixed. I'm willing to work with the other bugs. But the game is UNPLAYABLE for inverted Y people. The Issue: If you turn on Inverted Y, it also inverts X. The Inverted X selection appears to do nothing at all (even if you don't invert Y, invert X does nothing.. I'm not sure why it's an option). When I first played Worlds Adrift I liked the game so much I was willing to learn how to play without inverted Y. It was very painful and it screwed me up with every other competitive First Per...

exploration is fun, building a ship is really satisfying I just wish I had these so called "friends" people seem to speak of to play with combat could use more work and the enemies need more variation but this game is mostly a puzzle solving/exploration map with some combat sprinkled in

TLDR: This game WILL be incredible if you let it. Please please PLEASE people, don't let this game get killed in development by review bombing or refunding it. This game is unlike anything else in gaming, it's extremely fun, it's made with such love and care from the developers, and it deserves your support.

The current Mixed reviews are due to a number of factors, none of which are the fault of the developers or the game itself. The main reason is this: the publisher for Lost Skies, Humble Games, keeps pushing Bossa for development and release faster and faster, and it's just not possible for them to make something this intricate that fast. They were forced to go from public demo, to Early Access (which they openly stated they never wanted to have), to the upcoming 1.0 release in the span of 5 MONTHS. That is an ABSURD, IMPOSSIBLE deadline in game development, especially because a third of their staff got laid off right before the demo release. And because B...

Abandoware. Developers are going to rush 1.0 to release the "full game" and stop giving it any support. Dont waste your money here.

Its fun and definitely sparks the flame that Worlds Adrift had, but its also DEFINITELY in early access. The game in its current state I'd say is borderline unplayable (in multiplayer anyway). But I do really hope they can pull off what worlds adrift couldn't. That was one of my favorite games, I was one who had managed to get it before it even was on steam.

DO NOT BUY This is a money grab game. They have abandoned the future of this game. So many promised features and expectations lost. Will change in the future if somehow this changes.
