At the time of writing this, I'm confused as to how this game has only positive reviews. Trailer presentation: The UI does not match what is seen in the trailers, even slightly. In addition, there are significantly more classes presented in the trailers than are actually available in the game, and the skill trees actually seem fairly fleshed out a glance, but in game, there are only four skills per class. It's very clunky and stuff just kind of feels all over the place. Things feel very heavy as a result of being locked into long animations when you do anything which makes faster weapons, especially ranged weapons, superior to everything else. The Hammer is the only one-handed weapon in the game, even though when wielding a mace or sword you only swing with one hand. You're still locked out of equipping a shield. There's no way to purchase weapons in the base, you can purchase any type of armor you want, but not weapons for some reason. Several enemies completely knock you down ...

About This Game
Inspired by Monster Hunter, World of Warcraft, and Dark Souls
The difficulty of Sinderfury does not lie in timing dodge rolls, but in preparing for the unknown. You must craft a build and take down the ever powerful demon bosses that await you at the end of each dungeon. Think carefully about your build and how to approach fights - it will be the only path to victory in Sinderfury.Time Trial Dungeons
Complete time trial dungeons with a squad or solo, in order to kill the demon boss that waits at the end. The faster the clear speed, the more loot you obtain. Carve the demon's heart and obtain it's Sins, in order to upgrade your gear and abilities.
PvP Duelling Arena
Duel your friends for glory in the PvP duelling arena, and test out new experimental builds before taking them into battle.
Open Classes
Each class contains 2 unique base abilities, and numerous unique mechanics - beyond that, the sky is the limit. Swap out any of your other abilities for any other classes abilities, including ones unlocked for other skill trees.
Skill Trees
Unlock abilities for each class skill tree, usable by any other class. Create exciting and powerful new builds based on your playstyle!
Loot
Collect loot by killing bosses and enemies, that come in common, rare, epic, and legendary rarities. Using Sins obtained from killing bosses, you can unlock new abilities from the skill tree, buy new armour with better stats, upgrade your base stats on your player, and even obtain new weapons.
Action RPG Combat
The action RPG combat system ensures the skill cap is high, and the movement and targeting requires mechanical skill and precision. Combat is fast paced, but forgiving to those who have carefully thought out their strategy!

User Reviews
positive reviews are mainly from private profiles and don't give any substantial details on the actual game itself. the only other negative review from Justin acknowledges a lot of the same issues I have with this game. misleading thumbnails that are NOT the same UI as the actual game along with a "settings" menu that has one volume slider? game is clunky, misguided, no particular sense of direction, and suffers from tons of weird mechanical decisions and fundamental gameplay elements (enemies attack and hit within a 10 frame span that makes melee weapons virtually unusable without hit trading all the time). super confused on what i even bought.
My friend and I just completed the final level of the game. My opinion is that this game is not good. Starting with the good: The game looks cool most of the time. The enemies look good, the bosses look cool, the weapons, levels and atmosphere is fine. Where gameplay is concerned the only levels that we found ourselves enjoying were the first two, everything after that was not fun at all. The length of the game works well with the levels given, it didn't overstay its welcome but it had enough to feel satisfied when completed. No level goes reused which creates good variance while playing. The time limit system on each level also encourages players to go back and replay the levels for better rewards. It eases the grind of replaying levels to level up characters. The not so good: After the first two levels the combat becomes tedious as the monsters have large amounts of HP and, for most of them, have one attack they will use when they get close enough to you. Most of the combat consi...
The game's starting environment is a bunch of cobbled-together assets with some randomly scattered lore items to read. I walked 20 meters or something down a pathway leading directly out of the game's starting 'central hub', turned to explore a gap in the walls only to find out this was an unintentional trap. With no way to unstuck myself I had to restart the game. When I started the first mission of the game I was not impressed at all with the interaction of my attacks and the handful of mobs I needed to fight. The first boss fight is very underwhelming and his arena is way too large. It doesn't look or play as well as the trailer would lead you to believe
Not the greatest experience for me, the levels are extremely long and the mobs constantly spawning turns it from a challenging experience, into a painful button masher. It has great potential but it needs work.
This game can only be described as exquisite. As an absolute sucker for loot this game is heaven. Lowkey turning into a inventory management game for me, with the amount of theorycrafting there is to your build in combination with the diverse loot stats.. ruh roh, I'm getting sucked in.
Sinderfury is set in a dark fantasy atmosphere with dungeons to crawl through and bosses to die to. If you like ARPG's and have a couple buddies to play with, I see little to no reason not to try this game out! Coming from the dark souls series I especially appreciate the combat style: The attacks feel meaty, but unlike in the souls games you never get stun locked by enemies. The balance between different weapon classes make the choice of one over the other situational, while still allowing favourite weapons to be viable. I have played a fair amount of monster hunter in the past, and I was frustrated by its complicated crafting system, upgrading my gear always had me spend time not doing what I wanted to do the most: Beating the crap out of monsters. Sinderfury's combat is very close to monster hunter, but its progression is surprisingly simple in comparaison. This simplicity is what most of my favourite games share. It doesn't push overly complicated systems in your way, but still p...
This game is amazing to play with friends. A loot hoarders dream. Very well executed game love the different systems and the flexibility of classes. Have had a lot of fun playing this game solo and with friends! Love it!
Just started. Had a hard time beating the boss in the first dungeon until i figured it out. Yet to beat the boss in the second dungeon but I am having fun so far.
The trailer is well made, but that's as far as the effort has gone. There isn't much choice for weapons/ skills, there's no point in upgrading rage or stamina, the levels are poorly designed, combat is clunky and requires no thought, you can soft lock yourself during the tutorial, and more. I found how bad this game was at first amusing, but in the end, it's still bad. Only thing this game has that's a positive, is number go up.
