Only one hour in but I can already tell this is a very unique game. It's a mash up of Catan, tower defense, rogue-like and a RPG lol!?! Also this is a tabletop-like game not a 2D Platformer. Not only does it misrepresent the game but I think that tag will turn some people off. You can attack but it's not really a hack and slash. It's all turn based where your actions cost AP. To start you have 5 points and different actions cost varying amounts of points. Moving cost depends on the terrain but roads can be built to lower it. Another thing that depends on terrain is what buildings can be built on the hex and what resources the hex provides. Villages/cities can be built and will act as your attack towers. Everything can be upgraded including you. As you fight you will gain xp and level up. With every other level you will get to pick a perk. Example: After every kill gain 1 AP. Each game will have a different feel because EVERYTHING is random. Three different hero's can be picked but you...

About This Game
Strategy
Players can consume Action Points (AP) of a limited amount each turn to perform various actions such as "move," "attack," and "build."
Fill the board with necessary buildings such as "villages" that automatically attack enemies, "mines" or "plantation" that produce resources every turn, "workshops" for crafting equipment, and defeat enemies that appear each turn. Let's conquer the island.
Class
Select one class from three to play. Each class will have different abilities and play style.
Growth
Defeat enemies to level up, through which you can get powerful Perks.
Perks appear randomly and it is up to you what to choose. The combination of Perks is essential in the game.
Randomness
Everything from the map to enemies, dropped equipment, Perk options are randomized. Each run is a new challenge.
Power-ups
You can purchase various power-ups with coins to help you progress faster or change the play style according to your preference. Coins are earned each run you play even if it fails.

User Reviews
This is a Neutral review! If you are looking for something new and your indie roguelite list runs dry very fast, pick this up. What you can expect is a decent idea with a not so polished execution. There are three classes with poor balance, the fighter being by far the strongest while the other two are just mostly fulfilling the same role but with side gimmicks that are weaker. Some design choices are questionable and music variety is nonexistent (you will mute it soon after you start). The main reason you will want to play this is for the novel concept which is surprisingly effective. Expect to get approx. 5h out of this before you are done with it.
Very interesting game that mixes a bit of 4X with wave survival roguelike. You play in a single screen map, controling a hero that can not only fight enemies but also build buildings around the map to harvest resources, purchase items or help you fight. Every so often new spawn portals appear and block tiles around the map, which could be your own villages and farms, preventing them from working and anyone from entering the blocked tile until you destroy the portals, which also happen to spawn new enemies periodically. At 24 turn intervals, bosses also spawn, being somewhat distinct to fight compared to one another. Very addictive and pretty fun but be sure to turn off the soundtrack and play your own music.
Really fun and addicting game. I have played all three heroes and so far I like the builder the best. The soundtrack does not match the game, but it is a very catchy get stuck in your head track. For some reason when the game is in windowed mode it runs like **** and is unplayable.
Fun but definitely needs some work. Even at max level the enemy is super overpowered and makes game play frustrating. What's the point of leveling everything out if it does not give you the advantage???????
I had fun with this little gem. It has a lot of room to grow in just about every aspect, but it does what it does right and is an enjoyable experience
A neat, compelling roguelike that's unlike any other I've played.
Although it is a bit confused at the beginning, this is a nice game with the unique idea and the addicting, funny game-play.
Really unique game, a mix of Catan, tower defense and RPG elements all rolled into a rogue like. So far I think my only complaint is the music doesn't fit the game at all, I just turn it off and play something ambient in the background.
In my defense, I can report that I am gradually losing by less! A really interesting strategy title that will definitely exercise your grey matter. You really have to pay attention to building various structures that will provide you with various raw materials and equipment upgrades. Mindlessly running around killing things will not see you surviving for too long. Music is reasonably annoying (but you could always turn it down), the graphics do the job and the game is reasonably priced. Really looking forward to bettering myself.
