Loads up fine... in all honesty, to me this feels not much more than blown up pictures... not sure how else to put it. the movement is one dimensional. Zero interaction with anything. and most of the cockpits are not rendered in 3D, just stretched photographs of the "real thing". Its an absolutely incredible idea but it needs a whole lot more detail and even interactivity to come close to peaking the interest of a DCS World. To enter each cockpit and be able to look around in the cockpit. I'm holding on hope there will be many many updates to come...

Air Museum is not (in it's current release) a game, and much more of a 3D walkthrough. If you are a fan of aerospace museums, this is an awesome VR environment. I am a military Pilot, and have been around a lot of these aircraft in real life, and the feeling of these models was awesome. Best experienced standing. My kids loved it. Pros: 1 - The models look awesome, and you can position yourself to be able to look into most of the cockpits. 2 - You can go inside many of the larger aircraft's cargo areas. I've spent many hours in the back of a C-17, and the vibe is there. 3 - A really good mix of aircraft. 4 - They captured the museum vibe, both in sounds and ambient people. 5 - The Developer says this is a Work-in-Progress, and should be expanded in the future, they just wanted to get this out. 6 - Has the AH-64D Apache. If you position yourself just right, you can sit right in the cockpit. (The place where the cool kids sit) Cons: 1 - Model consistency. Some aircraft look better...
Very obvious graphical mask issue on a Reverb G2 (Left Eye), and doesn't support Index Controllers when using a Reverb G2 - kept force closing Steam VR to use WMR. The plane models and texturing were 'ok' but certainly not DCS level, and the non plane models were very very basic. Needs some love/further work. Sadly refunded due to the Controller issues. Needs quite a bit of love/work before it's worth the price for me, but YMMV.
'Air Museum VR' is a virtual museum filled with 30 aircraft from jets and helicopters to the monsters of the skies like the Antonov AN-255 (you explore via teleport only with snap-turning, there are no movement options). While the virtual museum itself is pretty basic with only simple text into boards and no additional content the aircraft themselves look amazing in 1:1 scale and you can really get an appreciation for them and their size (especially the jetplanes and the bombers). This is an app for plane nerds and plane nerds only. There is no gameplay here, you don't get to fly them, you get to appreciate them visually and even peek into the cockpits of some! Given the effort made on the plane models, I do feel this is worth the money, but the museum itself could have done with more work and WAY more information and content on each of them than there already is. As a general rule, if you think you might enjoy this, you probably will. If you goto Aviation Museums in real life this i...
