Well, I will say the developer has a lot of ambition, too much maybe, as this combat platformer tries to bite off more than it can chew. For the first half hour of the game a tutorial tip for a new move, item, or whatever is popping up every 30 seconds, some of them multiple times. It's a bit much to take in right away, and some of it is just unnecessary. There's also a decent amount of story to it and the translation is a bit off, sometimes amusingly so. The problem is the game just doesn't control well. There always feels like there's a bit of a delay in jumping or slashing, which is a killer since the game insists on a lot of the jumps being combo slash/jumps across dangerous areas, which means you're going to miss a lot. The combat is decent, there's an attack, a block, and a special weapon, but it all feels similar. The graphics are cute -- they're not pixel art but still very retro looking, but I wish they were larger, everything is just a little too small. The music is roughly...
