The art was a little too "cartoony" ... the monsters were a little too "fantastical" ... and the sheer number of cards/synergies made me feel like I needed a spreadsheet and a slide-rule to figure it out. Not something to idle away 30 minutes on at the end of the day when your brain is tired. There's enough depth here to have to make some strategic decisions ... but not so many you get "decision fatigue." The gameplay is so much fun I don't even mind a failed run.
