Nope. Horrible reload mechanic (without a manual reload) and half of the buffs offered to you depend on it? I'm not playing Gears Of War here, I don't care for perfect reload this is supposed to be a bullet heaven. Levels feel tiny. You finish one, back to camp, can't do a few in succession and actually become strong like RoR2 or any other similar game of the genre. Upgrades are mostly junk. Unless you can upgrade your gun, most of them are shit. "stun with perfect reload" "chill with perfect reload" " Eat dog S*** with perfect reload" Fk outta here. 2/10 not worth it on sale. Go buy some game like Endless Alice before this junk.

About the Game

Start a Picnic solo or with up to three friends in online co-op! Strategize builds, complete objectives, and defeat monster hordes to prepare for massive boss battles! In the Zone, Loners that stick together survive. Sometimes.

Your IMPULSE GEAR transforms every arena into a high-flying playground of destruction! Turn every ramp into a launchpad, every cliff into an advantage, and every mini-boss into easy pickings from above.
Shoot spirals of shurikens or blaze fiery Rocket trails. Every upgrade combo creates harmonic chaos. Stack Cursed Curios, trigger evolutions, and rain explosive meteor storms on your enemies for devastating effect.

The game is still being developed, but we want to encourage everyone to participate! We have an active Discord server and would love to hear your feedback and questions!

'Cautious recommend' at the moment. Overall had a lot of fun with this. Am a big Risk of Rain 2 fan, as well as games like Roboquest, Witchfire, Gunfire Reborn, etc, and this title slots well into the 'roguelite shooter' genre. The movement is a strong suit. My feedback on improvement below should be caveated with this all in mind - this was fun + addicting and there is a lot of potential. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: (1) FPS drops/ optimisation - sometimes reaching 50 FPS (my PC has a 3080 & averages 244 FPS in CS2) - particularly where there are a lot of enemies on screen; (2) cannot reset keybinds for some reason, there is a keybind which says 'reload' on R which does nothing for me; also cannot bind to mouse buttons; (3) sensitivity only in increments of '0.1' which makes it hard to be precise; (4) characters not differentiated enough, they basically have a 'smash' button and a grenade with slightly different stats - I mainly played as the bunny girl because of the base increase ...
definitely a game trying to do things in a creative way with some unique items and skills but I feel like it is yet another "roguelike" that while still technically a roguelike should be more clear in its description that it is one of the vampire survivor style games and not a risk or rain 2 type roguelike. i look forward to future content and polish
Game is fun, but definitely still has some early alpha bugs. All runs were in max party, after about an hour or so in game the game would start to lose sound and then freeze up. Also the curio combines are almost not worth it with current xp gains, unless you stall a run from finishing, its rare that you get near max curios before events are completed. Either the levels need to be longer allowing for more build up of your weapons, or getting to a max set for curios needs to be easier through more xp drops or changed mechanic somehow. We started stalling completing events to allow us to reach max kits to try them out, this lead to running into the other issue of more freeze ups. Ignoring the above the game has a great feedback loop for kills to levels to events in game, definitely will benefit from more maps or more challenges to differentiate game play. Looking forward to future updates.
