I can recommend it only for Fate fans because it's not so good. The story is a typical Fate story which is actually interesting but very similar to other Fate titles. The game is way too slow and felt unnecessarily. So, early you will figure out the game is repetitive. The regular moves are cool and fast and the special moves are SO COOL but when it goes to the battles they're take forever because the enemies have too much health. The towns are bland, same goes with the quests but the character design is really good.

It's very good, even if you don't like the fate series. Even better if you do!
"Iori, do you smell that?" "...Smell what, Saber?" "That's right. Buy me food." "Shirou, do you smell that?" "...N..No, what is it, Saber?" "That's right. Start cooking." 9/10 Would become a sword demon again
It was alright but not worth the price when I got ot on release. 6.9/10
This game is kind of like Dynasty Warriors but instead of seeing John Dynasty swing around a halberd I point like an idiot and jump for joy when Miyamoto Musashi (but not like the real Miyamoto Musashi who also exists in Fate but like a universe hopping woman Musashi who's directly from the mobile game where you fight Qin Shi Huang's nonbinary android body and then have weird thoughts about this one onmyoji who's kinda fucked up and evil) shows up.
Highly recommended for fate fans. Good story, easy to learn and upgrading system is also good!

It's some good stuff, man.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is a love letter to Fate fans - especially those who played the mobile game F/GO - due to its inclusion of so many iconic characters like Musashi, Jalter (sorta), and having some lore from F/GO. But, this game is also a great entry into the Fate franchise for new fans, as the game does a good job of explaining what servants, the holy grail (waxing moon in this game), and other key details are in the story. They even have a logbook, which allows you to read through all the lore in-game. The game itself is very fun, with a long campaign with classic Type-Moon route divergences to make each playthrough more unique. An NG+ is highly recommended to get the full story and understand the intricacies of every character. Thankfully, NG+ carries over everything - levels, skills, items, money, so going from NG to NG+ is a seamless experience. There's also a fast-forward or skip button to speed through dialogue you've already read. Similar to Yakuza, Fate/Samurai Remnant of...
I love Saber! (Yamato Takeru) so much.
