Poorly optimized and abandoned. I love the other Ultimate General titles, but this one doesn't live up to the other entries in the series.

Sad that this game has been abandoned apparently. After how much I enjoyed their Civil War game entry, I was excited to try this. I was disappointed and very quickly decided the game was not worth investing my time in. Apparently the developers agreed. To be honest, had this been my first foray with them, I would have been completely turned off by them as a company. I hope they pick it up with any future entry they develop.

Unfinished garbage.

I bought the game on their alpha through their own launcher hence why no game time. The game being good or bad is less important than the company itself. They have a habit of saying we want to make this game with these features but need to make this early access to get the funds to finish the development of said features. They get maybe within 80% of the way there then say "Hey we realize that the task we set before us is much more than we thought and want to release Age of Sail/ American Revolution/ ETC ETC". The company is basically a ton of abandon-ware that dodges their poor reputation by stringing players along. The last completed game was like Ultimate Generals Civil War and its the title most fans of the company played and likely bought before this one. All I'm saying is the company has some cool ideas and struggles with feature creep and tends to kinda disappear finishing the game 85%. If you are fine with that then have fun and enjoy the game. I did so up to this game buying ...

I honestly felt this game has the best battles and logistics matter. Its challenging but more based upon your actions, failures, victories! I kinda feel this game got a bad rap, but I loved the way it puts the action, politics and intrigue in your hands! Victory is in your hands! Sadly with Darth leaving the game's development team and how the development has grinded to a halt... It could have been great! And a continuation leading into other campaigns like Napoleon, or other ideas would have been awesome with this formula! Know, my review is mostly on the mechanics and formula of this game being both challenging and refreshing for a strategy game! I loved it all, from the combat at sea, land and political sphere! But sadly the game may just die now...

I respect all of the hard work that the dev team put into this. Even terrible games take time and effort. I can not imagine how a game like this was allowed to be released. This is one of the worst games I have ever played. There is no balance and next to 0 tutorial. Do not waste your time trying play this "game".

Very disappointing. I really enjoyed Ultimate admiral AOS and thought this would be even better... I was wrong. + looks nice + I like the time period - Very unbalanced British campaign - Some of the customisation I loved in AOS seemed to be missing - An overwhelming amount happening all at once means just makes it stressful rather than fun - Abandoned after a very short time

Unoptimised trash, lagging so hard in campaign map, devs already gone by now and no one else will be able to patch it. Do not buy it.

I sort of hope that Stillfront Group that bought Game-Labs in 2021 have horrendously bad karma coming their way.
