It feels like a psychological fairy tale where I'm left to gather scraps of meaning on my own. Even after the puzzles fade, the quiet traces of clues and symbols tucked into every corner linger with me—not with fear, but with a soft, stubborn melancholy.

I went into this game fully expecting to like it having played many similar horror RPG maker games. Unfortunately this one just ended up being a real slog both in story and game play. While running around spooky wonderland, the game teases for a full (checks game timer) 8 HOURS a mysterious and compelling story using a large cast of weird characters, scrawled bloody notes, disappearing books, and even theater shows. You begin as a girl with no name and no known purpose who's goal is to discover herself. You end as a girl with a name (maybe) who's supposedly discovered herself (maybe) but the player is left scratching their head wondering what they missed. There is never the mid game thrill of discovery or even a nice ending aha moment. I am a pixel chaser and will explore every corner I can find, even if it means loading the game after accidentally going down the wrong hallway and triggering a 5 minute game progressing cut scene. Amazing game, premium depression. It knew how to hurt me everywhere. Glorbo my baby... Seriously recommend this game, it's a great story! Even tho this game was originally made before Little Goody Two Shoes, I feel like I personally enjoyed it more (and suffered more), by playing it after LGTS.

Great game that tickles the classic pixel horror RPG itch. Story will make very little sense, I played it after LMGTS and felt like it was more enjoyable played that way - the story didn't quite engage me enough to play the other endings (8 HR base game is quite beefy to replay over and over) but absolutely worth picking up and playing if you're looking for an experience like Witches House or IB.

alice in wonderland: depression edition

A horror puzzle game with gorgeous art and killer soundtrack. The amount of pixel art is kinda crazy, each new area has stuff you only see once and always high quality. Highly recommend checking it out.
