About This Game

Noah Stevenson is an immigration officer on a future Earth. His job is to investigate passengers entering Earth and decide whether they are human. While most aliens can enter Earth legally, some alien species are not welcome. Unwanted aliens may choose to trick the immigration authorities and impersonate humans. These aliens must be detected and arrested. However, things are more challenging than they seem.

There are several interrogation methods available to Noah to carry out his work. Some encounters can be scary, some can be funny, and sometimes can feel tedious, but Noah needs this job to make enough money to reunite with his sister, who resides in one of the human colonies in space.

Will Noah choose to do his job, get the money, and leave Earth? Or maybe he has other plans?

"Human or Not" is a puzzle simulation game that puts the player in the shoes of an immigration officer and allows them to decide who can enter Earth. Between shifts, the player meets different characters and makes decisions about Noah's life.

Features:
 • Interrogate passengers in your high-tech booth. A glass barrier is included.
 • Press the "HUMAN" or the "ALIEN" button for every passenger you inspect.
 • Use different inspection methods as they become available.
 • Speak with different NPCs, including your sister.
 • Earn cash.
 • Choices are meaningful!
 • Endings are multiple.
 • Riding the tram is free, and space flights are not.

It's like "Papers, please", but much much better. I love this game.

The gameplay is really good. The only thing I don't like is that this game is basically propaganda trying to make you feel bad for wanting secured borders. I will finish it, maybe there's more to it but it really feel like it's the message the game is trying to convey, that you're an as*hole for not letting everybody get in.

Paper please but you're working for the MIB the mechanic is easier than paper please, and the pacing can drag on, but the usage of extraterrestrial alien does allow it to distinct itself from PP. the game does have a couple of moments where it shine above paper please, (minor spoiler)
mainly the couple of times aliens try to attack you and you have to fight them off. The game make a good job of making the threat feel personal, compare to PP where the threat were more bureaucractic

I Love Papers please style type games being able to have the ability to alter lives and change the storyline. This game feels very unfinished and lacks any depth. Very little interaction with other characters the endings really didn't make much sense and I felt like you wasted all your time. This game has the foundation for a great game but unless they do some major updates and add to it don't waste your money it's very disappointing

Very boring and didn't do anything else to really innovate on the game it was inspired by.

I've just started playing so I cannot tell if I like the story or not, but premise is cool. Papers please in sci-fi clothes. It has an interesting game potential, but lacks a few quality of life polishes: - walking speed is a bit low, it begs for a sprint button. When I walk through the location for the first time it might be fine to walk slowly, but after a few times it becomes an annoyance. - when walking from one location to the next (in the spaceport) you don't continue walking if you have the button to walk pressed- you need to let it go and press again. - interacting with objects in the world requires walking up to them and then clicking on them. It would be much more convenient if You could have an action button on the keyboard. - choosing dialog options can only be done with a mouse AFAIK. Option to select dialog options using numbers would be cool and together with interacting with objects using an action button would eliminate the need to use a mouse. - allowing player to sk...

Very cool, tested concept bound into new facettes. I enjoyed the ending I got and judging by the tons of achievements I missed, I can imagine how much else there is to explore. Definitely a game I will be replaying at a future time.

I'm really impressed with this game so far. I like the silliness, the characters and dialogue are overall fun. I just finished my first playthrough where I was trying to be the very best immigration officer and go see "Sis" -
I knew I didn't like the sister, like what is her name?? Where did she come from? Why is she a B? How am I an alien that whole time without knowing? Many questions.
Obviously I need to try other routes in my interactions, I feel like there's so much more to uncover now. I'm hoping making different choices will open up new dialogues with characters like Lin, riddle man, and the beggar. I mainly want more depth/backstory and meaning to the characters that are there, and it doesn't have to be all of them.
For example, I like the hooded aliens who I accidentally told they could eat me - that was fun and gave me a good chuckle.
Mechanics are straightforward and explained well, I found inspecting to be a lot of fun. I do wish th...
