At the time of posting this, I have 269.6 hours on record, which is more time than I'll spend on any game. I never wrote a review for this game because I'm a big Armored Core fan and I knew I would be biased, but let me tell you why you, someone who has never played an Armored Core game should buy and play this game. If you games for the STORY: The game has multiple endings based on which missions you choose to play. When you go on to new game+, more options are unlocked, keeping the story fresh and you play it additional times. If you play for ACTION: The game is fairly fast paced and based on your loadout. I think if you want fast paced gameplay, you can certainly get that out of these missions. You can also play slower and more strategically, it's all based on your build. If you play for STRATEGY: The amount of customisation you can do with your build is amazing and unrivalled imo. There's no way to max every possible stat, and I believe it's possible to build a viable AC base...

I think I've pondered on this enough. I loved this game, I really did. Really hoping for some adjustments to turn speed/hard lock/stagger in whatever comes next, but I'm still really happy with how VI turned out and I can't wait for more.

The story is great and I'm so happy that NG+ and NG++ offer additional missions and endings. Gameplay is smooth, the missions are fun and there is a ton of build variety.

Piercing through the atmosphere, liberating a planet, while having buddy by my side, and my schizo suicidal girlfriend in the head.....as cool as it can get, this is it, this is Fires of Rubicon.

Always tried to get into the older generation games of this series but due to the control scheme I never clicked. Tried it again with this newest entry hoping to get into the genre hoping for better controls, They delivered in every aspect as I was met with much more than I ever expected. From the beautiful soundtrack to vast options of builds and mission variety I am now a Armored Core fan 10/10.

This game hasnt gotten one update for 4 months now and ranked system is still a problem with laggy matches because of the latency and how they dont have messures in place for unfair matches

Artificial, over-the-top difficult seems to be the name of the game for Fromsoftware lately, and Armored Core VI does not buck that trend. Some friends of mine and I have been with Armored Core since Playstation. I want to be clear, AC VI is game of the year type material. However, the artificial difficulty leaves you scratching your head. Why do I break a boss's shield, but then I cannot damage the boss? Why do I have ammunition limitations, but enemy ACs do not when they always did in the past? Why do I feel like I have to build swap for every other encounter? Everyone understands that certain builds have advantages in certain encounters. Yet why encourage build swapping? It's easy for me to recommend this game. It has spectacle, graphics, and gameplay heads and tails above the rest. I am writing this review post-Nightreign release, and I think Fromsoftware has listened to some of these criticisms, as I am by no means the first one to make them. This game is, again, a game of the yea...
