About This Game

ANTONBLAST is a fast-paced explosive action platformer that's all about destruction. Play as the enraged Dynamite Anton (or his cranked-out coworker Annie) and use your Mighty F’n Hammer to demolish bizarre worlds, tussle with screen-filling bosses, and steal your Spirits back from Satan!

He wants to be the reddest thing on the planet.

That's right: Satan himself has stolen Anton's prized Spirit collection, and he'll stop at nothing to get it back. Of course, you have to help him.

Thankfully, the local disgraced casino owner, Brulo, has his own beef with Satan, and he's willing to put aside his differences with Anton to make that devil pay.

Who knew bald sweaty guys had such fanciful wares?

Your mission in every level is simple: SET Brulo's Detonators, FIND Anton's Spirit, and ESCAPE before Happy Hour ends!

  • BLAST through a unique powertrip of a platformer!

  • INDULGE in an urban graffiti-inspired art style!

  • DEMOLISH massive destructible environments!

  • BATTLE brutal, earthshaking bosses!

  • EXPERIMENT with a totally dynamic playstyle; rush through for the best time or explore at your own pace!

Are ya with it?

AntonBlast is raunchy, destructive, outrageous, stupid fun. But it also has a big problem, and, interestingly, that problem isn't Pizza Tower. Everything about AntonBlast's presentation is right on point. The art direction is impeccable. Anton and Annie are lovable idiots. The enemy and boss designs are interesting and offbeat. The soundtrack blows your ears out. And the gameplay itself - you really are encouraged to destroy everything. Platforming is fairly precise, The "clutch" charge system is satisfying and fun to chain. Your double jump is itself an attack. It's all here, and it's predictably fun. Where AntonBlast really starts to fall off is in its secret-finding and its difficulty curve. First, secret-finding. Since the game tracks how much you've destroyed in a level, nothing that you've defeated respawns when you come back around and visit it a second time (except for a certain variety of boxes). So, when a collectible or high-value poker chip is located after a platformin...

Antonblast brings a lot of fun and very well executed ideas, many compare the game to Pizza Tower, but the one thing the games have in common (other from some of the inspirational material) is that they're both masterpieces. Incredible game, buy it you're wasting your time on the rewievs, buy the game now and enjoy peak, get it now.

Charming, funny, and an Anton blast to play (you will never see the end of that joke's use in these reviews). It's Pizza Tower's under-recognized cousin (we all know that's why you're here), which is arguably better than Pizza Tower in several aspects. The most glaring difference I noticed between this and Pizza Tower are that instead of concentrating its difficulty in bosses and the timed section, Antonblast applies it fairly evenly, so you're going to see similar difficulty between levels and bosses. That, or I was the reason why I took over an hour and a half on a single level. Overall, it's a very strong Wariolike (there's a total of 2 Warioland-based games, is wariolike a genre now?).

ANTONBLAST is an electrifying platformer that bursts onto the scene with unapologetic energy and a distinct personality, blending frantic action with a cartoonish aesthetic reminiscent of the wildest ‘90s games. You take control of Dynamite Anton or his partner Annie, diving into a zany quest to reclaim stolen spirits from the bizarre and grotesque army of Satan’s moles, known as the Ballbusters. The game’s narrative might sound absurd—and it is—but that absurdity is part of its charm, delivering a story told through irreverent humor, explosive set pieces, and over-the-top character animations that make every moment feel like a wacky cartoon come to life. At its core, ANTONBLAST thrives on fast-paced, momentum-driven gameplay that rewards timing and skillful movement. The controls are tight yet layered, offering a variety of mechanics such as dashing through enemies with the “Clutch” move, bouncing mid-air using the “Hammer Vault,” and triggering the powerful “Anto...

I may suck at it, but that doesn't mean I can't think it's an amazing game (because it is!) The artstyle of ANTONBLAST is something you almost never see, which is a shame because it's SO GOOD. The gameplay is intuitive, and the level design is immaculate. The dialogue is hilarious, and the story, while bare-bones, is really fun. I haven't tried doing many of the various "challenge" things, primarily because I'm bad at 2D platformers, but what I have seen of them, they look awesome. If you're looking for a cool game to play, BLAST away.

Pizza tower except playing well doesn't require overstimulating yourself I mean, to put it more eloquently, and with all due respect Pizza Tower, this is superior in every way.
