Hidden gem, easy to overlook but really fun once you get wrap your head around the basic mechanics and get acclimated to the (admittedly not great, if perfectly functionable) UI. Played on a 4x4 grid 'battlefield' of cards, each deck has a different mechanic for affecting the placement of the cards each turn; that, mixed with a bunch of interesting synergies between the cards, makes for an engaging (and challenging!) experience. I fully went into this game expecting to bounce off it quickly, and instead it's a game I pick up fairly regularly to casually tackle a run. Definitely give this one a shot, especially if you like intriguing deckbuilders.

About This Game
Rogue-like deck building
Create a deck from a collection of 190+ cards in order to gain power and overcome enemy armies. When you are defeated, your deck and progress is reset, but you can achieve permanent progression through card unlocks and new player generals.
Defeat enemy armies
Choose 1 of 6 playable characters, and strategically control a battlefield of 16 cards where the placement of each card affects its synergies with the surrounding cards. Go up against an enemy army with health and attack values, and you have your own health, defense, attack, and wealth values which impact your battles with the enemy army.
Other features
Collect 50+ treasure items whenever an army is deafted; these treasures further solidify the card synergies which exist in your deck or allow you to pivot to new strategies. Create unique synergies while avoiding enemy sabotage cards. Encounter random events that impact your deck, and venture into endless mode to see how far your skill can take you.
