now i happen to like where the way this game is going but im torn. i've played the 1st game before this one. the good points. one i like the farming added something that was really needed. two better buildings and planing. 3 the skills are something nice and job setup. 4 the combat im at odds about this as the dmg out put from a normal hit on the hardest is 1, a powered up normal hit is 3 points of dmg, makes a lof of the combat take a lot longer then it should. 5 the story is a lot better then what it was in the 1st and job's that show up on the map. 6 the textures do look a bit better, but look more cartoon like over the 1st game. 7 no crash's lag or other wise, for cat sim it does it's job well. 8 i did like the buddy setup too exp as they do things means you can even have ya kittens come with you for combat. now for the bad points combat is top of my list and the way ai work, the dark cats only have 2 powered hit, they can charge em at and time, for the most point you nev...
I Played the first Cattails game and thought it was amazing, then i played the sequel... Wow this game is honestly really good! I haven't beat it yet but i very much enjoy the upgrades to the last games systems, especially the hunting system. the only thing i do slightly miss is territory wars between the three nations, but otherwise it's a massive improvement and quite fun! 8.2/10

I started playing this game a couple of days ago, I already have 24 hours on it. Once you start, it's impossible to stop! This is similar to their original cattails game; but SO MUCH BETTER! There's so many features of this game that make it truly unforgettable. Cattails: Wildwood Story is so fun and has many different things to unlock; not to mention achievements won't get disabled if you have mods which is really neat because I love playing with mods, especially ones that add new characters and content. The main story goal of the game is to restore the Wildwood territory, which I completed within a couple of days. This is seriously such a great game for people who like games that aren't too difficult, AND for those who like a bit of a challenge. (There is a wide range of difficulty settings.) There is also so much to customize in this game, ranging from your colony name and territory, all the way to your very own cat so you can play as your perfect character. I really don't have anyt...
it is REALLY fun, and once you get some residents, you can go around and get these senarios and some of them will form relations and i find it really nice you can decide if they marry or not! i LOVE the new hunting mechanisam, the old one was to hard and i was starving alot nice it was changed!
Its just a fun little cat game where you get to run around doing silly little things like hunting, gathering and mining.
only complaint is that i cant marry everyone in one file and have one huge polycule
