This is more than a game, more than a warning, more than a plea... We have to wake up.... I knew it was all real, but I kept letting things fool me, make me question, doubt... Please, wake up, this is why our society is falling apart, Nazis took over. Nazis did study the occult, they did mind control research, and the US government even hired Nazi scientists after WW2 in an effort to use their gifts for the greater good... Yea, like that, would not blow up in our faces... Blackmail led to our government being compromised from within, our imperfections and fear was used against us, Nazis planned this for a long time. It was an easier way to win the war, it would take far longer, but far less effort. They decided to be patient. It started by putting all the pieces together for one hell of a Rube Goldberg domino effect from hell... They would use our resources to study all they needed to know, they bought out the greedy, they utilized their newfound Mind Control programs on the wea...

"AFTERLIFE - Killing Death" is a first-person horror game with a lot of promise, but unfortunately, it falls short in several critical areas. While the game features impressive graphics and an eerie atmosphere, the overall experience is marred by numerous bugs and performance issues. Frequent crashes make it difficult to play for extended periods, and the gameplay itself can induce motion sickness for some players. The AI is lackluster, with enemies often acting in predictable, uninspired ways or not acting at all. The needs you to kill 400 zombies to progress the story and similar mandatory tasks feel tedious and repetitive, making the game more of a grind than an enjoyable challenge. Some parts of the game are very dark, and you don't always have a flashlight, which can make navigation frustrating and add to the overall difficulty in an unpleasant way. A particularly frustrating issue is the erratic mouse behavior. Despite playing with very low mouse sensitivity, the cursor someti...
*** Beware scamming by these developers *** : This developer keeps selling 2022 "AFTERLIFE: KILLING DEATH", and also the exact same game, 2019 "AFTERLIFE" a.k.a "AFTERLIFE - FPS Horror Shooter". Yes, I bought both thinking this one was the sequel. Steam doesn´t care, and won´t let me refund. Wonder when they´ll sell the third "remastered maybe?" version, without one word of heads up of course.
Great indie fps. Sometimes, it is a bit to repetive. Awesome music and nice visuals. The story is a bit weird but interesting. The price is top notch.
Really enjoying this, I didn't expect to... I am playing it in VR via vorpX and its great, I really hope that the dev keeps working and improving on this game because I really think he's on to something here, the game looks and runs great too.
Played on Linux using Proton Experimental, Got it on sale for 2.15 GBP, So far after 1.8 Hours it not a bad game at all, Graphics are pretty good, Sound is okay, Gameplay not to bad at all, and as far as i can tell made by 1 person. Don't get me wrong it has problems and needs some more options, V-Sync is locked on and no way to change it so running on Linux/Proton locked at 60FPS makes the mouse movement a bit floaty, Volume Slider only for overall Volume, really could do with being able to lower the Volume of the Music. Voice Acting is Bad, When you Die you restart at the same place/point you died at and if it was because of a Zombie horde then your going to repeat die/restart for a while until you can shoot or run away, and if you had just run out out of ammo at the point when you died then get ready to still having to reload when you restart which makes it even more a die/repeat loop. Over all it is a good Game, with a bit of work from the Dev it could be an awesome Game, Still ...
Epic game. Mix "cyberpunk zombie apocalypse with souls-like(?) elements. I love it.
I'm sorry, but I had to stop playing the game after about an hour. It seems like the team working on this project might be small, which I understand. The idea itself is good, but the non-playable characters (NPCs) are not very smart. The story mostly revolves around nightlife, though I didn't make much progress in an hour, so I won't go into that part. The main issue is with the shooting mechanics. They're not great. The guns and effects are okay, but there's no satisfying feeling when you hit a head shot. Sometimes, one bullet from a revolver takes down a couple of NPCs, which doesn't make sense. Also, zombies appear randomly and can kill you out of nowhere. When you re-spawn, you're right on top of the zombies, so they kill you again quickly. The controls aren't great either, since you can't change the keybindings. The graphics are good in some parts and need improvement when it comes to human hair and lighting. Overall, the concept is reasonable. They tried to mix cyberpunk with...
the graphics are the only good thing about this game. everything else is pretty bad.
Pretty cool graphic and athmosfere (especially for an indie game), but poor gunplay with very strong enemies, and most of all a really terrible enemy AI... I suggest you to buy it only when it is on sale, maybe when it is less than a buck.
