Village RPG

[h2]Warning - Asset Flip![/h2] "Village RPG" offers almost [i]nothing[/i] of what is advertised on the store page. There is no "vast world". In fact, the world is tiny and confined to the starting village: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2738468484 Obviously there are also no "PvE tournaments" to be fought in, neither are there "many" quests, missions or enemies, and while we're at it - no dungeons. There are also no factions to choose from. There's just the tiny starter village, a handful of NPCs and some wolves to kill. The reason? This "game" is an asset flip. As soon as I saw the screenshots I knew I had seen this before and I wasn't wrong - it's based on an Unity asset pack from 2014 (!), [url=https://forum.unity.com/threads/top-down-rpg-starter-kit-version-1-0.230429/]Top-Down RPG Starter Kit[/url] by DreamDev. Village RPG is a monotonous, boring, unremarkable game, I highly do not recommend it.

Unpretentious and at the same time an exciting toy. It has everything that is present in all RPGs: Collect loot, trade, upgrade your character. Only here the combat is very slow, I would like it to be faster.

A rather simple toy, but interesting. You go farm, kill mobs and swing. Pretty normal content, you can get stuck for a few evenings. I liked the game, I will play it in my free time. It would be cool to play with friends

Scam. Only 1 mission: kill 10 baby wolves, Kill 5,000 if you want, the only mission keeps being that. All the "world" is just the town and a little field with wolves crossing the bridge, that's the "game". "Many enemies, quests and missions": a lie. "Vast world": a lie. "Dungeons": no dungeons.

Simple and easy role playing game. You can choose which side to play. You pump your character and endure everyone in a row. Soulful music and high-quality graphics. Add achievements and the game will have a bright future.

I bought this game for 0.99 € and played half on hour and I still feel robbed of my time and money. Only one mission: kill 10 baby wolfs You can overlevel yourself instantly by pressing F1 but why should you do that? I probably bought the wrong game beause they told me it was about managing the village where there groups of heroes would come to rest, buy stuff etc

it is a cool game, I would've written so many things about what could be better here but game hasn't been updated since january 2022 so damn

This feels like an old-school RPG you’d find on your childhood PC, but with a cozy twist. Farming, fishing, and building the village are oddly satisfying. It’s not flashy, but it’s full of heart.

Village RPG is a fantastic 2D role-playing game that you can't escape from! The ability to create your own hero and join one of the factions in the battle of two Alliances makes the gameplay engaging and multifaceted. The vast world, filled with adventures, battles, and PvE tournaments, makes every session truly exciting. Additionally, the creation of unique weapons and armor adds interesting elements to the game. I highly recommend Village RPG to all RPG fans — you won't be disappointed!
