After a long hiatus of 2 years due to personal tragedies (the death of my mother and my victorious battle with cancer), I finally returned to this game and finished it. Now I can review it properly. For starters, if you're expecting something like VVR1, you'll be disappointed. The game is much more different this time around. Taking place in the same world and acting like a sequel/side story (The Scottsdale server is mentioned in VVR1), this game is more of a comedy/musical than the sci-fi/horror existential experience that the first game was. There's a much greater emphasis to music and songs and Beat Saber-like mini games and the game is much more "gamey" and less of an immersive experience than the first game was. Sure the elements of Transhumanism, Consciousness Uploading and interacting with AI consciousnesses and not being able to tell which consciousness is human and which is AI, is still there. But the premise is vastly different. You don't change VR Headsets as much in this ...
