Solar Ash

It looks nice I guess, and has a few interesting ideas, but other than that it's pretty bland when it comes to gameplay. The movement system is kinda unresponsive and individual platforming sections are too short to bring that sweet parkour satisfaction. The story and dialogues straight up suck, and there's too much of them. And the game's definitely too expensive for what it has to offer. For me this title, and the fact that it was signed as an exclusive to epic games for the first year, perfectly shows the halfway point in the slow deterioration of the studio. From a passionate Heart Machine that brought the world Hyper Light Drifter, to the greedy dummies who don't even know what their first game got famous for and are now desperately trying to recreate it to no avail.

The movement system is fun but the game feels half baked. The initial concept doesn't evolve and there are a few physics issues at times.

[i]I initially purchased and finished the game on another platform and it is absolutely worth repurchasing.[/i] [b][i]Solar Ash[/i][/b] is a fantastic action game with an incredibly joyous and fluid movement system. It also has Metroidvania elements, engaging boss battles, and stylish graphics. The controls are comfortable and rebindable. The only drawback is the saving system - it auto-saves into 1 slot, with 3 slots in total. The saves are easy to backup via the file management system and they can be transferred between platforms. Highly recommended.

Great boss fight/platforming game. I really liked the style of the graphics and the movement felt good. My only complaint would be it's a bit short and wish the character got more interesting movement mechanics throughout the levels.

Easy game to play through and I need a second one

Awesome game. Controls DO take some getting used to but it was fun to control Rei. Visuals were fantastic, which was one of the reasons why I bought this game originally. Picked up this game on sale. And it was absolutely worth it!

quick pogalicious game besides some of the gameplay bits

Good visuals Simple game play Okay story Controls and mechanics can be a little frustrating, especially in hardcore mode. Overall pretty decent game.

Es un muy buen juego, aun que he de decir que es corto, pero el movimiento es muy bueno, gráficamente es demasiado bueno, tiene soundtrack decente, la dificultad es decente, y la historia es confusa, 8/10
