DON'T BUY! Literally baby's first game with bad controls, bad movements, glitched ladders, poor design, etc...

This neat little game somehow made its way into my library and I've only just now gotten around to playing (and beating it). I've spent a lot of time playing through the 8-bit classics of the 3rd Generation, and this would be at home amongst titles like Faxanadu, or Lord of the Sword, its tempting to say it's a bit of Zelda or a bit of Castlevania, but its nowhere near as polished as those games. There was some initial frustration with getting the controller mapped (I have a PlayStation controller, and I'm playing on Linux so you're mileage may vary), still using Steam's controller/key-binding tool this was quickly alleviated. The game has some flaws but I reckon these are pretty small and easy to ignore; ladders are a bit shoddy but it's almost in the spirit of the games its apeing from and really they aren't a deal-breaker (though I wish you could jump off of the top of them). You also can't scroll the screen to the previous one without leaving the first tile - again not a deal-br...
