Good puzzle game. Just for the love of god, make those ducks walk faster, and let me undo without having to fully watch the drawn out sequence of a move .

About This Game
In this cosmic puzzle adventure, help a lost tribe of duck-people in their millennial quest for a stable world!
In Space Ducks: The great escape, complete challenging Sokoban-like puzzles, by moving the Space Ducks in the right sequence, in order to reach the power source their ship requires and travel to the next planet.
But tread lightly, as walking on loose ground will propel into space what ever is standing on the other side. One duck's progress could mean another duck´s demise!
And even if a duck goes solo (years of living on precarious planets have turned the ducks into a somewhat callous people), remember that their is no escaping gravity and that one false move could bring your mission to a crashing conclusion.

Slightly interesting sokoban-style puzzle game about movement causing the ground to shift beneath your feet. Not much more to it that that, even with the complications of additional ducks and using blocks to traverse gaps. The only good thing about the aesthetic is the background as well; the ducks, pixel blocks, and annoyingly-long animations do the game no favors. There's much better games to play in this genre and you should play those first. Only suitable for the truly voracious sokoban devotee, not because it's difficult, but because it is at most a one trick pony with a pretty boring trick.
Hmmm. Nah. Not a fan. The controls and sound effect are so frustrating, it took me a few seconds to understand where I can walk and where I can't. When you can't walk somewhere, there's this really grating sound effect that I couldn't endure playing so frigging loud. It was such a pain. I don't understand why you have to use the 4 directional keys when just left-right would have been enough. It just feels weird. The gameplay doesn't make much sense with the whole gravity in it, it doesn't seems consistent at all, making some moves more like guesses than anything else. I definitely didn't enjoy my time with it. I don't think I'll try it another day.
This one's got the biggest jam of the pack, and just such a fun atmosphere (PUN). Very low pressure (PUN) with the undo/restart buttons and never too complex in a tedious way. The lone flaw is the weird spacing (PUN?) of the keys, it's nice that R and U stand for Reset and Undo but they are not located well when the only keys you use are Tab/R/U!
Nice little puzzler with a novel mechanic of blocks falling in different directions based on the direction you step on them. Simple mechanics lead to surprising interactions. Some of the puzzle design could maybe have been tighter, but overall it explores its mechanics well. The style is really charming too. Audio, visuals and humour are great. Lots of surprising and delightful little moments. Playtime of a bit over an hour. Worth the price of entry.
I gotta be honest, Space Ducks: The great escape was a slow burn for me. Still it's a very interesting puzzle game altogether, and seeing how the different mechanics interacted and evolved was a lot of fun. It also has an "AH HA!" moment where something happens and it all kinda clicks into place, you'll know it when you see it and after that the game becomes even more enjoyable. Movement is a bit slow, but thankfully you can speed it up by pressing the directional keys twice. Overall a fun experience.
It is instantly obvious that everything runs way too slowly. Moving your character, waiting for animations to play out, even just pressing escape to get to the title screen all takes at least 3x what it should and it makes the gameplay feel restrained. I want to be able to experiment with the mechanics, but having to wait several seconds between moves is just so painful. I'm not going to be finishing this one.
Painfully slow game, running at locked 144FPS on a good PC. Nice puzzles but I can't really take much more of it.
+ Interesting puzzle mechanics (Sokoban meets Microgravity?) + Nice puzzles (not too easy, not too difficult) + Kinda cute (I mean they are ducks in space, how can they NOT be cute) - A bit short (only 18 levels) - No level selection? Why???
Probably my favourite game from the CosmOS9 bundle. It looks good and plays fairly well, though I don't like the sluggish movement of the ducks. Aside from that, though, there is some thought put into the game. You have to control your ducks to get to the blue space ore to power your rocket, and then move them to the rocket to leave. The problem is that every block, aside from the rocks, gets pushed when you step on it, which leads to some creative puzzles. It is pretty short and I wanted more from it, but for what it is, it is probably the best game in the bundle!
