PAC-MAN WORLD RE-PAC 1 is a love letter to Pacman fans and 3D platforms in general, it just came out on my birthday in 2022, I was turning 20, my perfect gift thanks Namco <3 ❤️🎁🎄🍕 As a remake 10/10 I loved it very much, even though I didn't get to play PAC-MAN WORLD 1 on the Playstation 1 but I did play it emulated, my childhood was really PAC-MAN WORLD 2 AND 3 I really enjoyed this remake, it improves in all aspects of the original game, memorable music, colorful levels and fun bosses, fun new mechanics, this game is a real party. Oh boy do I love getting the black screen that freezes the game after trying to start a new game.

while it's cool to see an obscure childhood classic remade, it ultimately falls short in every area and had me return to replay the original on an emulator instead, which i actually enjoyed, unlike this "re-pac" there's a distinct lack of care and polish, from the visual design of the levels to smaller details in things such as the HUD elements, but most designs of the characters and enemies remain surprisingly faithful (unlike the crash and spyro remasters) the cutscenes are definitely the weakest part, where toc-man has to be present in every boss intro for some reason, and these moments are simply just awkward. again these cutscenes are really rough and unpolished the difficulty has been butchered across the board, levels are all very forgiving and bosses provide no challenge, save for the finale with toc-man which is the only difficult encounter in the entire game the post-patch music is nice, using the original CD quality tracks from the playstation release and faithfully remak...

9.5/10 Great game! First of all, I would like to thank Bandai Namco for making a remake of their old game available for PC. This game is very good, even though you can play through it in a day (it's very short). The soundtrack, gameplay, and level designs are wonderful. The maze levels have also been very well implemented. I never would have thought that Pac-Man and platformer games would work so well together. The only problem I have is that I can't play this game on Linux in Windows mode because the screen doesn't display. It's probably a mistake from my side. Overall, and a question for Bandai Namco: I would still like to thank you for making this game available on PC. I'm looking forward to the second part of Pac-Man World, which will be released soon. I really hope that you will release more of your old games on PC. I also hope that you will release your games on GOG.

Mmmm Pac-Man platformer

i always liked this game its so cute and fun

100%'d the game to give a fair opinion and stroke my ego in this review. It was OK. Overall, I do not recommend, especially if you didn't own the PS1 version or have nostalgia for this title. It tries to be both a 2D and 3D game, but excels at neither. An abundance of backtracking for every single level. EXTREMELY irritating music. A pretty masochist final achievement. There's far better platformers than this, like the upcoming sequel. Just play something else.

Be forewarned, if you want to go for 100% achievements, you have to beat the first 9 levels of the original Pacman with only 3 lives, it's extremely difficult, and very frustrating since it's designed to be a quarter eating arcade game. You'll need to consult some guides online on what paths to take to beat the stages properly. Apart from that, the main game is like a 6.5/10. It's not terrible, but it's pretty bland experience with some decent platforming. Get it on sale for 6$ like I did, and you'll get about 10-15 hours of fun out of it.
